We just got out from the restaurant. Our waiter, a young man in his early 20s… wasn’t quite what you’d refer to as “ the sharpest tool in the shed”. We had to remind him to bring us wine 3 times, we asked for Parmesan for the pasta a handful of times (it never arrived), he got our order wrong and he still wanted to have the final word.. in Italian “ salumi” means “cured meats”… MEATS… he brought us a whole plate of cheese and told us that that’s what we had ordered. We waited a business day for the bill… and those are just a few things that have occurred during our 2 hour hungry stay.

All in all, I reckon it’s a family business, and if that’s the case it’s genuinely worth giving the restaurant a try, the food was good… but unless today was this young man’s first day on the clock, it was really, extremely, unprofessional and...

Location molto carina, immersa nel verde a pochi passi dal Belvedere di Montalcino. Cibo a dir poco squisito, ho mangiato una guancia di vitello spettacolare sia per il gusto che per la morbidezza della carne: unica davvero! Non ho parole. Mia figlia una pasta col sugo di polpo cotto in vino rosso: una favola!! Speciale! 10 stelle, uno dei posti migliori in cui abbia mangiato in vita mia! Anche per la preparazione dei piatti.
