I don’t usually write reviews but I just have to for this place. I just finished eating there 10 minutes ago and I have to say that the food and the atmosphere were absolutely incredible. We showed up early for our reservation and they still got us seated right away. It is in a perfect spot, it is not too loud and the ambiance is amazing. One of my group mates were getting bitten by the mosquitoes and they tried to help as much as they could. They brought more of the bug repelling incense and they sprayed more bug repellant around the bushes. The food itself was incredible. We got the pasta with hare, pasta with wild boar, mixed salad, stewed beef, pork tenderloin, ricotta and spinach balls, crème brûlée, dessert wine with biscuits, and tiramisu. It was all so yummy. The restaurant even gave us a free appetizer and Prosecco. The meals also were very well priced. Special shout-out to Davide our amazing waiter. I had the worst experience in my entire life. Me and mom were looking for a good place to eat pasta and drink wine around our hotel at 9:30pm despite we had dinner two hours before and when I searched for this 4.9 rated restaurant it looked good for us. We ordered a ravioli and two glasses of wine. 2-3 minutes later a moody lady came to our table with her infamous english and said you are basically two people and you can't share a dish. We explained we were already full and she said you need to order more food or you (she showed me the door). I couldn't get over this attitude because I have experienced many prestigious restaurants (including a michelin guide) and have never seen such a disaster. While there were 10-12 tables available, only 4 tables were occupied and there was no one waiting for their precious table. Viste le buone recensioni della cucina e del servizio decidiamo di provare la cena menù fisso del 14 Agosto. All'arrivo troviamo uno spuntino a base di polpettine di ceci, mozzarelline fritte e patatine accompagnato da un prosecco. Il locale è a gestione familiare e si percepisce da subito l'attenzione del personale ad ogni necessità. Davvero gentili e premurosi. La cena si apre con una mousse di mortadella di Prato con cantucci salati. Prosegue con un risotto di "Mezza estate" con pomodorini confit, briciole di prosciutto leggermente arrostite e una punta di scorza limone azzeccatissima. L'altro primo è un fagottino di porri, robiola e salmone su letto di crema di patate; anche qui scelta di ingredienti, consistenza e cottura perfetta. Il flan di zucchine è stato sorprendente con le sue diverse consistenze e la crema di pecorino a dare uno sprint al tutto. Per quanto riguarda il filetto di maiale in crosta ahimè non è riuscito bene, in quanto troppo asciutto in alcuni punti o punzecchiato in altri per "spurgare" il sangue che però lo ha reso comunque poco masticabile. Peccato perché la riduzione e il pistacchio erano perfetti. Nel complesso la cena è stata davvero piacevole e con ricette dove si nota la ricerca delle materie prime e della preparazione e il prezzo è più che giusto. A questo punto la recessione del ristorante si conclude con una nota dolente. L'accompagnamento musicale è stato davvero deludente e a tratti imbarazzante con canzoni cantante fuori tempo o con basi sbagliate, testi a fantasia e interrotti per bere o parlare con altre persone.
