Absolutely rude and RACIST staff and manager. Manager came across as racist and said we had to order a minimum amount of items or leave. We were a bunch of doctors by profession and he told my friend she is uneducated and uncultured for not reading an ITALIAN sign all because she asked only for a pizza and a few drinks as we weren't very hungry at all and he screamed we had to order a set menu. Caused a scene in front of all the customers and left us feeling embarrassed and left my niece terrified. My friend put her drink which had been ordered from them on their crappy table cloth and he had a hissy fit over that too and said he would charge extra. Absolutely disgusting and ignorant behaviour. AVOID AT ALL COSTS and spend your money elsewhere. We ended up leaving as his behaviour was so uncalled for and unnecessary. It seems by other reviews many of them have also experienced the same vile behaviour from the disgusting staff here. SAVE YOUR MONEY and go elsewhere. He will ruin your entire trip and needs to...
Read moreWhat a wonderful experience and delicious meal my husband and I just had at Emy’s Way (June 20, 2024)! We always anticipate eating at a restaurant will be a bit tricky as we are vegan. Since we are the ones who make this decision, we never expect any one or any restaurant to accommodate to our choice, but always ask if there are vegan options, just in case. When we asked Emiliano (we didn’t know he was the owner at this point) if there were any vegan options, he took a moment and started to list some items he could have made vegan. WOW! Not only was this an incredible gesture of kindness, and really exceptional customer service, it was also the start of an amazing and delicious meal! We had bruschetta without the pesto, a beautiful salad, and spaghetti pomodoro, along with delicious wine that Emiliano chose for us! I cannot recommend this restaurant more highly, both for the quality of the food but also the...
Read moreThe owner (Emy himself) is horrible. He made a very racist remark (euphemism about slavery) to a customer who was just asking a simple question about when the restaurant would be closing. Emy was not only horrible to this random customer (and others, who asked about eating there - why the hell would you be rude to potential customers who are asking questions about YOUR restaurant and YOUR food?). Every time someone would ask if there was availability for a table, he would go on some absolutely crazy rant/tangent about why he couldn’t seat them. Emy seems to be on some high-horse about his otherwise pretty normal restaurant experience. He was also rude/harsh to the waitress serving us; she was working very hard and Emy seemed to have some sort of issue with her. I’m not sure if they’re family or what, but I feel bad for anyone who has to spend any amount of time with him greater than the hour we were at...
