Stay away! They’re extremely rude.

Ordered 3 cones. Since it was 33c outside, offered to pay upfront to avoid the ice-cream melting while fiddling with the change. This appeared to irk the server, who raised his eyebrows at me while mumbling his displeasure. Also did not give us a receipt. Though the ice-creams were good, I would strongly advise trying one of the several other gelaterias in the town. It’s because of tourism that these shops thrive. But it seems some vendors don’t value the constant stream...

Had high hopes because of the other great reviews, but unfortunately my experience at Slurp was disappointing. The gelato was average, and the service was very poor.

The shop does not allow any sampling, which is half the fun of trying Gelato in Italy. Furthermore, the owner was not very friendly and seemed annoyed when we took our time choosing flavors. I can only relate to the positive reviews here - really the best gelato in Cinque Terre!! The quality and flavors are above and beyond and it is noticeable in every bite - we went two days in a row :) The owner himself was making ice cream while we were there and the workers had good humor. So far we can recommend the Creme Limone Cinque Terre, coffee and dark chocolate flavors.
