We stopped here to buy a few bottles of wine. The proprietors were very knowledgeable and friendly. After selecting two bottles with their assistance we decided to stay and have a few glasses. The first wine we asked for they didn't have an open bottle of so they suggested a different but similar wine. It was a really good choice. Afterwards, we asked for a second glass and they opened a new bottle of the wine we wanted to try in the first place. It was excellent! So good that we bought the bottle! Stopped in before a flight at 11am, we were the only ones there. The server was polite and although we tried to speak Italian they spoke great English. The spot is lovely and the decor is very cosy. However, we had two glasses of Anglianico wine which tasted like it had been open for too long when compared to others we had nearby. We let it breathe but it didnt help. Not sure if we were too shy to speak upand it was just an odd bottle or something else but that dragged it...

Per me è un luogo dai mille ricordi, quindi non posso che essere un po' parziale, ma in verità al di là del mio profondo amore per il luogo e i suoi proprietari, i fratelli Ciro e Antonio Scognamillio, non posso che essere obiettiva, se penso a tutte le caratteristiche positive di questo posto. Buone frequentazioni, a la page, ma non chiassose, una scelta di vini imponente, varia, con ottime cantine e non eccessivi ricarichi, una location deliziosa, sia nel piccolo spazio antistante all'ingresso, sia all'interno (diviso in due spazi, lo spazio antistante al bancone, più caotico e vivo, e la piccola saletta interiore con una decina di tavoli). Il servizio è eccellente: rapido, comunicativo, allegro e professionale. L'offerta della piccola stuzzicheria con il tempo si è implementata, e può essere ottima per un buon aperitivo verace, ma anche per una cenetta di emergenza se non si avessero troppe pretese. Unica pecca il pochissimo spazio per le birre e la totale assenza di birre artigianali, molto colpevole se non altro di ingenuità, nel momento in cui la birra artigianale non è più solo una moda poco frequentata e passeggera, ma la vera passione anche di tanti ragazzi napoletani.
