Green M'ama — Restaurant in Naples

Vegan but that was the best thing about this place, based on what we tried. Nice decor too, but the place was deserted. It's also located a bit out of the way so very disappointed having made the effort to get there.

The hummus was tasteless and bland, ceasar salad utterly boring and the gyoza was just poor. Seriously who created this menu?

I didn't like that we had to pay for the food before we ate (like mcdonalds). That's where the similarity ends tho and it wasn't cheap so we were right to expect much more. P My advice? Get hummus and itsu gyoza from the supermarket.

We did want to try the vegan tiramisu but we honestly didn't want to be anymore annoyed so went elsewhere for dessert.

Such a pity as we had high hopes given...

Un'esperienza. Sono stata eri in questo locale con un amico incuriositi dalla proposta vegana. È stato stra semplice raggiungere il locale data la vicinanza alla fermata della metro Municipio. All'esterno era molto curato con l'insegna, le piante, e il menù, dentro altrettanto curato con carti da parati, tavolini in legno, bancone a vista sulla cucina. Siamo stati accolti dal ragazzo dietro alla cassa che ci ha fatto scegliere il tavolo e ci ha dato i menù. Abbiamo ordinato in cassa e abbiamo aspettato il nostro turno leggendo il numero sullo scontrino e sul mini tabellone, ci siamo avvicinati al bancone e sui vassoi c'era tutto il nostro ordine. Abbiamo preso rispettivamente due menù di cui un Barby bun e uno wild bun con rispettivi nacho e hummus: i nacho erano molto semplici nel gusto ma altrettanto sfiziosi, l'hummus l'ho mangiato per la prima volta e per non essere amante dei ceci ho apprezzato davvero molto ma il pezzo forte è senza alcun dubbio il panino, semplicemente delizioso, il pane era morbidissimo, gli ingredienti stratosferici, si distinguevano bene i gusti ed è davvero un'esperienza per chi, come me, non si è mai interfacciato con questa cucina. Tra i due panini che abbiamo preso per assaggiare ho preferito il wild solo perché non sono particolarmente amante della cipolla ma anche l'altro era delizioso e soprattutto gli ingredienti erano molto abbondanti. Successivamente abbiamo ordinato un dolce che abbiamo diviso, una cheescake buonissima che abbiamo divorato e lo staff mi ha anche aiutato ad organizzare una piccola sorpresa all'amico giovanissimo con cui ho scelto di fare quest' esperienza. Alla fine ci hanno anche lasciato la fedelty card, un'idea molto carina per chi frequenta il locale in quanto dopo esserci andata per più di 5 volte vi danno un dolcino a scelta in omaggio. Il resoconto? Locale carino, staff gentilissimo e disposto a scambiare qualche chiacchiera con chi frequenta il posto, un menù decisamente diverso dal solito ma di cui sono rimasta piacevolmente sorpresa, se volete provare qualcosa di diverso è sicuramente il luogo giusto in cui farlo. Originally went to the rome location on a whim after googling "vegan rome", OMG, well worth it. from the outside I had my doubts but we stepped inside to a colourful oasis from the heat! the chips blew me away, so delicious. they are salty and hot and thick! We came to the Naples location for the maradona bun, OMG she is beautiful- A MUST TRY. and the nutella cheesecake was a perfect balance of nuttiness, saltiness and creaminess with a chocolate top! staff were so lovely too, friendly, helpful and great english for those not native - like me!
