So I finally made it to the famous Poppella, ready to be swept off my feet by sugary greatness. I had dreams. Hopes. A camera roll waiting for pastry content.
The pistachio pastry? Delicious. Creamy, decadent, and honestly the only reason this review isn’t just one long sigh. If you’re a pistachio person, that one’s worth the hype.
But then came the baba… and folks, I don’t know what went wrong, but it tasted like a wet muffin that lost its will to live. Somehow soggy and dry at the same time?
