We stumbled upon Indovino while looking for a cozy spot to enjoy a glass of wine, and ended up staying for much more than that.
As vegetarians, we asked for their pinsas, and the staff kindly offered one with mixed vegetables, which can sound straightforward at first, but when it arrived, it was nothing but. They delivered a beautifully prepared and thoughtfully topped pinsa with stracciatella, sun-dried tomatoes, zucchini, white cabbage, and paprika. Each ingredient tasted flavorful, fresh, and clearly appeared made with care.
To pair with it, we asked and were served a crisp dry white wine and an as delicious red wine, both perfectly chosen and generously poured. A large jar of cold tap water was also served, which we chugged on a warm evening.
What made the night even more special was Laura. A kind, warm-hearted girl from Milan who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. She didn’t just take our order, but also took the time to connect, chat, and then surprised us with a sticky note full of sweet recommendations of things to do and places to visit in Naples. Her thoughtful advice was full of local charm, personal favorites, and gentle, encouraging words.
