We had a wonderful dining experience here. The service was exceptional. Very welcoming and by the time we left it really felt like we’d gone to a friends place for dinner. Went with the family and between us had a few different pastas. All delicious. Homemade gnocchi. And the meatballs especially were the best I’ve had. Nice limoncello aswel. Highly recommend. Prices are similar to most. 10-12 euro for most of the pastas. If you’re coming from the main street there is another restaurant that sort of blocks your view of this one. The sauce coated well the homemade scialetielli, which was thick and starchy, almost udon-like. Sauce consistency was top-notch, though towards the end it got a bit oily and heavy. I suggest reducing the portion size (and of course adjust the price accordingly), or use less oil (though that might compromise the amazingly emulsified sauce).
The service and atmosphere made up for the tiny miss of the food and Locanda del Sole earned a...
