a quiet, family-run spot. attentive and kind service! seafood risotto was on point. good portion, al dente risotto, full of flavor. plenty of seafood inside. soo hearty and i couldn’t stop eating it. the octopus salad was delicious! i would have appreciated some more olive oil. fresh and great texture on the octopus. the olives were also great in there the grilled bream was well seasoned and grilled beautifully. however the fish itself was a bit small given the price. the fried squid and shrimp was also a bit of a small portion for the price, and i found the squid to be a bit tough, especially since it was a larger squid that was used. beautifully fried nonetheless. was not greasy at all. piping hot. house wine was at a great value but there was some sediment at the bottom of our glasses. if i could i would give 4.5⭐️. would absolutely come back!

Found this place randomly on Google Maps and because it had good reviews, we decided that this is the right place for us. And wow, we were right! As we were coming there we’ve got a very nice greeting. Family based restaurant, everyone of them was really kind. It’s a small place with wonderful atmosphere and the food. That was something we never will forget. I had Seafood Paccheri, couldn’t even finish as the portion was soo big. My partner got Sorrentina Gnocchi. When they put it on the table, we were a little surprised, because the portion was smaller. But they were really filling and tasteful. He didn’t even want to drink after he finished, because he didn’t want to loose the taste😆 Also Limoncello Spritz, really good and strong. Anyways, if you’re in Napoli, this is the place to go. We recommend and will never forget! Thank you.

I read in the reviews this place had great seafood, so I ordered the grilled squid. My friend had the sicilian pasta. Sadly the squid came out very chewy/rubbery. In hindsight I see this has been the topic of a couple other reviews. Luckily when I told them I couldn’t eat this I could just replace my dish with the neapolitan ragu. Both pastas were very good. The complementary bread was slightly stale (hard to eat with braces). Overall fair value for the price. Service was very quick to address the problem with the squid and very apologetic which was much appreciated. As a whole quick and attentive. We came because the restaurant was recommended to us as a place with live music. It took until we were about ready to leave, but the owner managed to turn around the disappointment of the food into a great vibe with a few songs.

tl;dr Absolutely Stellar Experience

We were there last Wednesday and sceptical because we read a bad review about someone ordering food for 25€ and paying 60€, we asked the waitress multiple times and made sure how much we would pay before ordering and I'm really glad we went.

It was the single best cooked food we ate on our vacation.

The staff from the cook/owner to the waitress were wonderful people that tried their uttermost best to make our stay as pleasant as possible.

We had a risotto with seafood and the scialatielli with seafood and both dishes were absolutely stellar.

The risotto had only a mild amount of salt and spices added to it as to not overpower the mild taste of the risotto rice itself. This also really brought out the rich flavour of the seafood and the sauce made from the seafood. The seafood itself was fresh, was cooked well and tasted great.

The best most competent risotto I've tried in years.

The scialatielli were really really aldente, it could almost be described as chewy but it was perfect. Compared to the risotto it was also quite salty with an increased amount of herbs which is ideal for a dish with thicker pasta with relatively lower surface area. It therefore had a more deep flavour rather than the wide presentation of the risotto.

The seafood and sauce were otherwise almost identical between the two.

I have never been more surprised of a restaurant and highly recommend it.

Considering that it is a really cheap restaurant I would really like to see what they could come up with if a dish would cost twice as much.

If I could change one thing about the dishes then I would ask for the seafood to be cooked 10-20 secs less.

Due to the pretty good reviews, I decided to visit this restaurant. Usually I avoid restaurants with menus including photos of the different dishes as these are often times a sign for these classic tourist places of only average quality. But I still decided to give it a try... I was lucky to get a table but several customers were already waiting for a free table. I ordered a pasta with seafood which was okay but I had already better before. As a second main dish I choosed the meatballs. It took quite long till I had this dish on my table. Unfortunatly, I the meatballs were cold. The waiter apologized and sent it back to the kitchen. After some minutes, I got a new plate - this time with a hot meal. The dish was okay, for my taste the bread crumbs were too dominant. The atmosphere was not really relaxed. In general, the waiters were friendly but they were pushing for fast oders and prompt payment and their main focus seemed to be the acquisition of new customers. To sum it up, the experience was okay but not as good as the review promised. I wouldn't go their again as there are so many other great...

Find it hard to believe this place has so many reviews as the food was so uninspiring and quite expensive for the quality. We asked for the pasta alla genovese and the seafood paccheri, which were both mediocre to say the least. The pasta alla genovese was mostly watered onions that seemed to have been blasted in the microwave and had no depth of flavour. The seafood paccheri was probably the worst meal we had whilst being in Napoli - it only mussels and clams and the pasta was not all dente, still quite hard to chew. When I pointed to the waiter that 8 out of 10 clams were closed which meant they were dead before cooking, he really didn’t seem bothered or offered any kind of compensation which I thought was rude. If you’re wanting to have good food in Napoli, save yourself the €2 per person cover charge to eat outside by the traffic and eat elsewhere. Would not...
