This family run restaurant located on a small side street near the metro station Università serves authentic, inexpensive and comforting food.
Their menu is small and changes on a daily basis, depending on the available ingredients. We tried their roasted chicken thigh and it was superb! Pan fried in butter with a drizzle of lemon juice, the thigh was utterly tender and juicy on the inside with a crunchy skin. Their mixed vegetables side platter was good, especially the aubergines sautéed with tomatoes.

Read moreThe food here is quite good. The contorni are solid and very traditional. The grilled fish was also good, especially the triglia…a small, delicate local fish that is made for the grill. The pasta portions looked HUGE for the price and well made.
65€ for what you see below, a bottle of white, and a few amari on the house. It’s not the best or cheapest restaurant in naples, but I would eat here again in a heartbeat if I were in the area.
