La Muraglia Chuanchao — Restaurant in Naples

Actually SIX STARS, but google limited to give you 5 stars maximum.

Over about 20 Chinese restaurants in almost 20 EU countries I have been to, this place was one of the BEST Chinese restaurant (I have never been to China so I cannot compare this place to those located in China).

However, I am quite sure that this MUST be one of the best of the best. The taste of the food was just as same as the meal that my Chinese friends cooked for me.

All of ingredients were perfectly and delicately prepared. I could see that they rolled the shrimps before cooking. Their fish was very fresh. The tofu was not smelly at all. They streamed their Dim Sum, not microwave.

Although some dish was too salty, and there was not proper English menu, but those were acceptable as other dishes were absolutely fantastic, and the service was nice.

They also prepared the toothpick and candy for you after you made a payment. This, I think, was very considerate comparing to those other same ranking restaurants in the EU.

We had three meals here in three days. The Chinese food is very authentic and spicy, specifically the 水煮鱼片(fish in hot chilli oil soup)，干锅鱿鱼(dry pot squid)，干锅野菜花 (dry pot cauliflower)，尖椒牛肉(stir fried sliced beef with chilli peppers) and 水煮牛肉 (sliced beef in hot Chili oil). The 叉烧排骨bbq pork ribs are also very good, the meat is very soft and tender, flavourful with a tad sweetness.

I don’t recommend the 酸辣土豆丝 shredded potato and 干煸四季豆 green beans. I’m quite disappointed. They don’t taste authentic.

For a family of three, we paid around €50 one meal is €53.5, 1 meal is €48 each meal. The price is fairly affordable compared to the Chinese restaurants in the UK. There is a table charge €1.5 per head, kinda like service charge. The service is also up to standard.

THE PHOTOS LIE 2022 AUGUST - DECEIVING!! DON’T GO HERE!! Food was utterly horrible, so disappointing and such a waste of money (roughly 44 euros). Was not authentic at all, tasted like UK take out. ALSO, they deceived us - ordered two beef dishes and the it was white meat and was 100% PORK. I pointed it out and the worker dismissed it and said no it’s beef. NO BEEFY TASTE, this is dangerous and hurtful for anyone was dietary requirements. Duck was dry and doused in weird sweet sauce.
