Purtroppo una vera delusione. Incoraggiati dalle recensioni (gonfiatissime come ovunque ormai) e approfittando in una promo di TheFork abbiamo cenato in due in questo locale. Antipasto : cuoppo. La frittura non era proprio leggera, ma passabile. Ma soprattutto i prodotti erano davvero insipidi. Primi piatti : paccheri con pesce spada e melanzane. Il pesce spada immangiabile, cattivo di sapore, pesantemente di pesce vecchio. Lo riferiamo alla cameriera che cerca di approfondire, giustificandosi che avevano venduto altri piatti e nessuno si era lamentato. Questo di per sé non significa granché, ma ho apprezzato l'interesse. Peccato poi che ci ha detto che il pesce spada, così come la frittura di pesce, sono surgelati. Di per sé non è un crimine, ma va specificato sul menù, e vi assicuro che non vi è traccia. E vi assicuro che non l'avremmo mai ordinato se l'avessimo saputo. Si potrebbe configurare il reato penale di frode alimentare, non è uno scherzo. Anche l'acqua che non è di bottiglia sigillata, ma riempita da un distributore, aveva delle sospensioni. Insomma c'è molto ma molto di meglio. Non sarà un caso se molti dei tavoli presenti avevano prenotato con the fork. Un ristorante che offre prodotti di qualità che bisogno avrebbe di vendere a metà prezzo? La ragione è intuibile. Purtroppo ormai è davvero difficile mangiare bene a Napoli, tanti troppi ristoranti (per modo di dire) di bassa qualità, trappole per turisti. Non ci siamo lamentati più di tanto perché abbiamo pagato poco, ma se avessi pagato a prezzo pieno una frittura di pesce a 20 euro, per poi trovarmi del pesce surgelato nel piatto senza che sia stato avvisato penso che avrei chiamato i Nas.

V napojom listku pod "vino rosso" sangria a na stol nam priniesli biele vino s mangom, ze tak to je. Ucet 28€, tips 5. Viac ako 10%. Za taketo jedlo neprimerane. Neodporucam. Kedze mi nejde odpovedat na reakciu restauracie, pripajam odpoved sem. Dakujem za spatnu vazbu. To ze v sangrii nebolo mango, ale mieste ovocie, bolo presne to, co som si chcela precitat po tom co som komentovala, ze sa nachadzalo v sekcii "cervene vino" a nam na stol priniesli biele. Nenapisala som, ze jedlo neobsahovalo co malo, ale ze bolo bez chuti a samí olej. Neapolska/Talianska kuchyna je moja oblubena prave pre jednoduchost. Kedy sa zo zakladnych kvalitnych surovin pripravi dobre jedlo. To ste vy ale nedokazali. Netreba pouzivat ironiu, ak odpovedate zakaznikovi a nemusite sa neskor za nu ospravedlnovat. Pripajam aj uctenku, ktoru sme dostali na stol potom co som poziadala o ucet a teda nie, sprepitne nebolo dobrovolne. Ja by som za taketo sluzby sprepitne nedala. Naozaj som bola velmi sklamana z chuti jedla. Nepripravili ste ho dobre. A vasa reakcia plnu vysmechu a ironie.... Hneva ma, ze som v podniku ako je ten vas, minula peniaze.

I liked everything about this cafe: the central location in Naples, the very welcoming staff, and the local Neapolitan food we tried, which we found to be unusual but delicious. Café is very simple; honestly, I might not have even paid attention to it if we hadn't been staying in their apartments. If you happen to be in this area, please don't just walk past—stop by for lunch or simply enjoy a glass of great wine.

The restaurant is in a prime spot - Piazza Dante - with good food. I had pasta with swordfish, which was yummy. The ambience is nice at night. One thing that bothered me was my bad experience with one of the waiters. The Italian waitress was lovely, attentive, and respectful. The South Asian waiter was rude with me. With me, he claimed he didn't speak English, but he spoke perfect English with White tourists. He then picked a fight with me over billing and overcharged me. He was also racist because I'm Arab. He dared to ask where I'm from, claiming it's my first time in a restaurant and don't know how restaurants work!! The gall on him! When I spoke with the Italian waitress about this (very calmly of course), she was VERY apologetic, respectful, and kind. Please don't hire such a terrible waiter as him who's so prejudiced. As far as my experience goes, Napolitanos are SUPER kind and respectful, and I won't let that guy ruin my opinion of such lovely,...

I rarely write reviews as I am a waitress myself, however, this restaurant was a big disappointment. It’s my own fault because I saw that only one other table was seated when other restaurants were fairly full, and the waitresses were looking quite bored. I’m from the United States and I am also a personal chef. I always hope to be blown away by meals, but this meal was underwhelming. I got lemon veal and it was overcooked and bland. Even the pasta was quite rudimentary. My servers were pleasant and I think they understood that I didn’t enjoy my meal…it is no fault of theirs & I still left a small tip. A Delightful Lunch Experience

We recently had lunch at this charming spot and were blown away by the experience. The pasta was perfectly cooked, bursting with flavor, and paired beautifully with an amazing smoothie that complemented the meal.
