I didn't know what to expect but I went off of the reviews & I'm glad that I tried it. I don't speak any Italian but I was treated very politely. It's obviously a popular spot in the community; one of the dishes that I wanted to try was just about empty and there wasn't a fresh batch available. No worries though, I picked out a few other dishes to take away. Meat was dry (I think it was chicken neck -- not sure) I would have tossed it but my boyfriend picked through it & ate every bit. Overall, we were both satisfied with our meal and I was very pleased with the spices & flavors. The clientele is my only complaint. I was pulled aside and warned that "it's very dangerous." I didn't find it dangerous at all but I may have had €10 lifted off of me here, not sure. I'd say try it -- it's tasty...

The place was suggested to me by a colleague from work, then I was also alone in my spare time. The first time I tried the bun with egg, carrots and onions, the other day the lipia/pie with coconut and vegetables which is an interesting combination. On the third day I tried a kind of slightly big spicy meatball that contains vegetables and is made of chickpeas or something similar. On the day off I tried a medium spicy roll with egg.
