The best out of four dinners in this area on four consecutive nights - by far! We had the hyped pizza, the hyped ragu and an Osteria. They all didn't live up to the expectations. When you come to Italy you want to experience at least some kind of original food and atmosphere. In this very small gem our hope finally became true. There are only a few tables, so I would recommend it more to couples than big groups. The staff (all of them) were very friendly and spoke good English. The menu features quite a few seafood dishes which is also quite rare in this neighbourhood. We went for seafood salad (9 EUR) as starter, grilled fish 15 EUR) and spaghetti with seafood (12 EUR) as main dishes. Every single meal was deliciously prepared - also the arrangement on the plate and the table setup was way above average. Comparing this very satisfying dinner with the ragu pasta the day before which cost exactly the same leaves me without words. Of course the personal experience is always dependent on the staff present that night, the crowd and other things. In our case it was all brilliant. Prices are more than fair.
My only complaint is - again no pepper...

N40°50' 51.1" E14°15'13.3" This restaurant is close to Complesso Monumentale di Santa Chiara. The locals knew the way to this restaurant. Around lunchtime, it was full inside and outside.
In April 2019, we ordered seabass, with a salad of eggplant, zucchini and arugula for lunch. Simple but very tasteful dressing of good olive oil, lemon, chives and parsley was put on the table. The seabass was baked 0n the skin, fresh and delicious. Well prepared, nice texture and full of flavour. The local white wine, Lacrima Christi del Vesuvio, was nice.
The service was personal and attentive. As visitors, we were treated as guests. No hurry and no hidden costs. The waiter explained the menu in English, showed the whole fish and served it in front of us.
Pulcinella served a great Napolitano lunch of well-prepared and fresh seabass. ...
Read moreMy wife and I had dinner here after doing some searching online and saw that it had some nice reviews and the photos of the food looked enticing. We arrived the a little after 7:00 and were the first and only ones there. We were greeted by a nice gentleman who spoke English which was a big relief not knowing the language. We started off with a fresh tomato salad and an order of fried zucchini flowers a glass of wine and a spritz. We knew at that point we picked a great spot. For the main dish I ordered the sword fish and my wife had the pasta with the meat sauce and sweet onions . If you duplicate what we ordered you would probably say it was one of your better meals in Old Naples.Their entire menu was reasonably priced and the service was wonderful. Within a half hour the place was crowded so I suggest getting there early or making a...
