I recently visited a taco restaurant in Naples, Italy, and while the food itself was quite good, the overall experience left much to be desired. The flavors were satisfying and clearly crafted with care, but the service was extremely slow. It took a significant amount of time for our food to arrive, which dampened the experience, especially since the restaurant wasn’t particularly crowded at the time.
One notable issue was with the portion sizes and presentation. For instance, the nachos that came with the quesadilla were surprisingly skimpy – just four chips – which felt more like a garnish than a proper side. It would have been nice to see more effort put into making the portions align with expectations, especially for the price.
I had hoped to enjoy a couple of beers during my meal, but unfortunately, I was only able to order one, as the service wasn’t attentive enough to take another drink order in a timely manner. This added to the frustration and made the experience feel incomplete.
Overall, while the food was flavorful and the concept is promising, the slow service, small portions, and lack of attentiveness made the meal underwhelming. With a bit more attention to detail and faster service, this restaurant could really stand out in the Naples...
Read moreNo way you would serve beef and shrimp tacos with mayo on top, and say that it was the “salsa sour” from the menu. Salsa sour is not mayo…
Salsa sour should either be a tomato + a sweet fruit combo (mango or pineapple) or in the other direction, sour cream, in no universe it should be mayo… for someone who read and ordered exactly what was on the menu, to see this on my tacos was a total fail. Made me cry of frustration after the heated discussion with the waitress. Lunch was ruined for me.
Even if they redone the tacos, I would still not recommend.
Also, the beef taco that was given to me the second time, without mayo, had some questionable looking things on the meat, almost resembling worms… I hope they were not that, but be careful!
The rest of the ingredients were ok, not very flavourful. The sangria was strong and still refreshing.
My boyfriend enjoyed his burrito, he said it was close to a 3/5. He does not mind mayo in his food, unlike me.
The 5E coperto (for 2 pers) is crazy for such bad service and no english talking waitress in such a touristy...
Read moreI recently dined here and I'm quite surprised to see how high it's rated on Google. This was among the worst "Mexican" restaurant I've been at. To call yourself authentic it's a stretch. I tried the chicken burrito and "taco al pollo" both of which were awful. The cheddar sauce (which was bland) overpowered the flavor of everything else on both, the taco and burrito, (even though the chicken was bland by itself). The portion of the burrito was fine. The portion of the taco (6€ for one) was not (see photo). Which would be fine by us if the taco was actually good. On top of everything, we noticed after we left the restaurant that we got charged 5€ on our bill for SEATS. The most we got charged in Naples for seating is 2€. But 5 EUROS? If the product you serve isn't good, lower your standard of seating.
The only good thing that somewhat saved our experience was the Mojito our...
