The restaurant features a sleek, modern design within a stone-arched interior, reminiscent of a contemporary wine cave. For starters, I had the octopus salad, served lukewarm and truly excellent. The octopus was perfectly tender, accompanied by celery, carrot, and herbs, all beautifully balanced and cooked to a tee. For the main course, I opted for a seafood pasta with tomato, mussels, clams, and various types of shrimp. Once again, everything was prepared to perfection, and the flavours were particularly present. To pair with the meal, I sampled three different Sicilian wines by the glass—a sparkling, a white, and a red, the latter two from the Etna region. Each one was of good quality and matched the dishes well. However, considering the price point of the restaurant, the service left something to be desired. Although the staff were polite, they seemed rushed and somewhat detached, focused more on keeping up with the two dinner services than engaging with the diners. For a restaurant of this calibre, I expect a more personal touch and attentive service that complements the quality of the food. While everything ran smoothly, the experience felt somewhat mechanical, lacking the warmth and connection you'd anticipate...

I have to commend the service team for being proactive and knowing what the customer needs are before even the customer knows. I was here with my partner and we wanted to try more dishes so we were going to share. When they brought the pasta dish they had it split onto two plates. WOW. That is attention to detail, something I didn't ask and they thought of this detail. Mid way through our dinner, the owner/sommelier came and personally asked us if we were enjoying our dinner. Really made us feel welcomed.
Now onto food. We ordered the fried sardines, croquettes, pasta of seafood, orange salad, and the swordfish. The croquettes and orange salad were good, nothing to write home about. The sardines was fresh and butterfly cut to make sure there were no bones when it is deep fried. Pasta of seafood was cooked Al dente and all seafood was fresh. Battered swordfish with eggplant was unique and had many layers in terms of taste.
Overall, this restaurant is worth...

The cuisine was the most authentic we experienced in all of Sicily. Every dish was bursting with rich flavours and made with genuine care and tradition. The portions are generous, and the menu offers a wonderful variety that caters to all tastes.
