EXCEPTIONAL Place, People and Stay at Q92. Words (and pictures) can't do justice of what I experienced here: The most genuine, warmest hospitality, exquisite service, care & attentiveness. This family owned and operated, boutique hotel in the heart of Noto is special not solely on account of that (but I will revisit this later). The "independently-minded" Q92, member of the Small Luxury Hotels in the World (and rightfully so) is one of the most beautifully and uniquely decorated hotels I've ever seen - mixing old world charm, elegance and opulence with the most modern amenities and design. Each of their 9 guest rooms and suites are different, with the coolest of artworks ranging from Renaissance to contemporary in vibe. The luxurious interiors will literally have you feeling like royalty, but also on account of the staff, who to put it quite simply are remarkable. Some of the most generous and intuitive people I have ever encountered, attending to my every need before it was even a thought in my head! Everyone at Q92 Hotel Noto made me feel so special. From the way I was greeted: the warm smile from Giulia, the whisking away of my heavy bags from dear Christian who rescued me several times, to the heart-to-heart chat with the General Manager Laura who took the time to get to know me - I felt like I was visiting some dear, long-lost friends. And I was fortunate enough to meet father and daughter Andrea and Gaia during my short stay there. What extraordinary people! (Unfortunately I didn't get to meet mother Rosaria and brother Massimo). What the Quartucci family built with great love and passion, and have now expanded on, with the help of their very special team is seriously impressive. Q92 Hospitality is the epitome of Italian hospitality based on a core principle that is so simple yet forgotten - Welcoming guests into their home as if they were a special guest of the family. An approach to hospitality that goes beyond anything that I've ever encountered firsthand. One that focuses not just on the guest, but in that lost art of human interaction and making a human connection. The family at Q92 have an earnest desire to make sure your 360 travel experience is an authentic and memorable one. This is Italian - more specifically Sicilian - Hospitality at its finest. You truly touched my soul Q92. So much so, I don't think I've even processed it all just yet. Grazie di cuore. I can't recommend this wonderful place enough and cannot wait for the day when I...
Read moreI would describe my wife and I as experienced travelers - with fairly extensive experience travelling Europe, Asia or North America. We have experienced some of the most beautiful places and best-rated hotels and resorts, as well as fantastic food experiences and overall outstanding hospitality and service. And then, once in a while, you just meet a place that exceeds all your expectations and previous experiences.
Q92 Noto is one of those places!
I can say that this place has no direct comparison to what we have experienced before! It is such a complete experience, right from hospitality and friendliness of the staff to the general decor, the history of the place, the tasteful decoration of the rooms, location in the middle of the town - everything adds up to a higher whole and everything is executed with great precision and down to the smallest detail without losing sense of great taste. This hotel is the closest you get to the feeling of being at someone's home, you are with family!
And being a family owned and run hotel shines through. It is very clear that everything is driven by two things: passion and the desire to make a difference for us guests. Gaia and her absolutely fantastic front desk staff (Giulia, Rudy and Daniel) all did an impressive job making us feel at home from the very first moment we stepped into Q92 Noto. Weeks before we arrived in Noto, Giulia in particular was absolutely fantastic in helping me organize my wife's 50th birthday, she researched so many things and answered all my questions promptly, and with her help (and the rest of the staff) it became a birthday we will never forget! Throughout our stay they were so helpful with amazing recommendations and suggestions - they would never recommend us anything they didn’t stand behind 100%. Finally, a big thank you to the rest of the staff who always kept our room and surrounding areas looking sparkling clean and welcoming.
When you study a website for a new hotel, you’re sometimes a bit skeptical. Everything can be done with text and pictures - but with Q92 Noto all written and shown is all true! This is a little gem you wish you could just keep to yourself...but it's so good and authentic and so driven by passion to make a difference, that everyone should know about this place - for Q92 Noto, Gaia and Co. really deserve all the success they can get!
Thank you for an...
Read moreThis was our favourite of all the (6) hotels we stayed in in Sicily. Our room, number 4, was beautiful. There is a huge walk-in wardrobe area, enormous bathroom with bath as well as shower, lovely comfortable sofas, really comfortable bed and, shockingly, very nice pillows (!), excellent product in the rooms, everything you'd expect from a top quality hotel. It was half the price of the Villa Sant'Andrea and three times the quality. The breakfast area is a charming terrace, whilst the bar is as intimate as your own private living room in a grand house. With a cocktail waiter. The property is decorated throughout with really interesting artwork, both ancient and modern, and it is a very interesting old house with lovely architectural features. Parking in the square is right in front of the hotel and it's easy to pay if you download the Easypark app. The staff could not have been more helpful about places to visit and restaurants to eat in. Receptionist Julia was particularly helpful and attentive. Noto itself is pretty and has a limited number of places to visit, but it's well placed for excursions to many of the fine sites nearby. This is not one of the cheap options, but you get excellent value for the money you...
