Disappointed! My girl and I ordered two burgers, as you can see in the photo, 2 glasses of red wine, sparkling water and a tiramisu - actually we just went there because of that dessert, as based on the google research the place has the best tiramisu in Olbia. Well, the burgers - one with beef and bacon and another veggie - came with french fries not crispy... The breads of the burgers were nice, but not for burgers (heavy), the beef was sooooo greasy, super well done, not juicy and a lot of barbecue sauce - which removes all the rest of the other flavors. The biggest deception was the Tiramisu. It came pre-done conserved in the fridge with the biscuits completely soft, not crispy. The highlight of the night was the couvert - that bread was fantastic - crispy outside and soft and airy inside - and the kindness of its manager. The price...

I recently dined at Don Carlo's in Olbia, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. While the quality of the meat was good, the overall service and meal left much to be desired. The service was unacceptably poor—our waiter seemed disinterested and inattentive, making the entire experience frustrating. Additionally, the portions were surprisingly small for the price, leaving us unsatisfied by the end of the meal.

To top it off, the hamburger I ordered for my daughter was overcooked, despite the good quality of the meat. This completely ruined the dish, as it was dry and unappetizing. Given the high expectations we had based on the restaurant's reputation, this visit was a letdown. I won't be returning anytime soon and wouldn't recommend...

Don Carlos is a lovely restaurant tucked away in the heart of Olbia. We sat out in the cooling evening air and had some tasty steaks. To start with, we had the Provolone cheese with bread. Then I had the 400gr Black Angus. It was nicely cooked and tasted delicious. My wife had the 250gr Waygu. Also very tasty and nicely cooked. I had a lovaly beer to start things off and then moved onto a bottle of red wine. My only real criticism is the lack of salad. You can order coleslaw, which was nice enough, but I think some nice lettuce and a tomato and onion salad would have brought a bit of freshness to the meal. The service was excellent. We spent €130 for two people with drinks I would go back to Don...

Great vibe, location and service but my meal left me wanting more. Maybe I should have just stuck with what they’re really good at: prime cuts of aged meat . I chose the bbq grill selection of brisket , ribs , pulled pork etc. However it was instant regret: dry , flavourless, not worth it. Hubby had the Denver aged wagyu cut and it was brilliant. They do it well, period. Let this be a word of caution. Andrea our warm waitress empathised and was great . Offering free dessert. Wine selections were great. Really look through the menu closely and some rarities “off menu” . A nice evening , could have been exceptional but maybe next time.
