ITALY PIZZA — Restaurant in Olbia

Found this purely off the google maps reviews. 5 stars and 112 reviews (at the time) pretty impressive.

The pizza isn’t the best pizza I’ve ever had but I have to say for the price and the variety it is definitely worth 5 stars.

We opened the place at 6:30pm and immediately had a few people behind us. Had a few drinks and three pizzas and a slice. Too much food for 2 adults and a 7 year old. But the price was amazing.

Italy Pizza was the winner it had a nice balance of the cheese and arugula and sauce.

My second favorite was as the champagnola which was very similar but change one cheese for sausage.

The Diavolo I did not try as I’m not a fan of salami however my wife and daughter liked it.

Daughter also had a slice of the one with wurst on it. I’m also not a fan of that but she ate it pretty quick.

In the end we took almost a whole pizza home. If you want some good pizza and a great price I recommend it.

If I were to order a pizza again I’d go with the Italy Pizza. It was crisp and still juicy. The arugula didn’t have a bitter flavor for me and for well with the two cheese...

An unforgettable Sardinian dining experience!

We had an absolutely fantastic meal here in Sardinia! The pizza and the carbonara were both delicious — bursting with flavor, perfectly cooked, and made with high-quality, fresh ingredients. Every bite was a delight!

What truly made the experience special, though, was the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The owner, a kind and charming young woman, treated us with such genuine hospitality that we felt right at home. Her kindness and smile added a personal touch that you rarely find.

At the end of our meal, she even surprised us with a shot of their special house liqueur — a lovely gesture that perfectly wrapped up an already wonderful evening.

Wir waren gestern Abend im Italy Pizza und es war total lecker.

Essen: wir hatten eine Margarita 2.0 (hier waren frische, fruchtige Tomaten sowie Mozzarella drauf) und eine Sardellen Pizza. Die Pizzen waren wirklich sehr lecker - dünner Boden, knuspriger Rand, frische Zutaten.

Service: wir sind gegen halb 8 dort gewesen und haben ohne Reservierung direkt einen Tisch im Außenbereich bekommen. Die zwei Bedienungen waren sehr nett. Eine davon war manchmal zwar etwas verwirrt, jedoch trotzdem sehr lustig. Ich würde einen Punkt Abzug geben, da wir etwas länger auf die Rechnung warten mussten und letztendlich selbst reingegangen sind, um zu bezahlen. Vermutlich wurde die Frage nach der Rechnung vergessen. Je mehr Personen da waren, desto hektischer wurde es und 'unangenehmer' wurde es, wenn man von auf einen Platz wartenden Gästen beobachtet wurde, wenn man sowieso nur noch da saß und auf die Rechnung gewartet hat. Die Bedienungen kamen auch nicht mehr hinterher, die leeren Tische frei zu räumen, damit sich weitere Gäste hinsetzen konnten. Zwei Bedienungen waren gefühlt zu wenig, da innen auch Gäste saßen. Daher meine Empfehlung: etwas früher kommen.

Ambiente: das Restaurant ist eher unscheinbar. Es gibt sowohl innen Plätze als auch ca. 12 Tische draußen. Die Tische stehen am Rand einer sehr großen, freien und überdachten Fläche. Wozu diese da ist, ist mir nicht klar. Es sah jedoch nicht aus, als wäre sie für Außenplätze eines Restaurants gedacht. Um diese freie Fläche herum sind ein paar weitere Restaurants. Es lief über Boxen von Italy Pizza Musik - Fahrstuhlmusik - was nicht so ganz zum Restaurant bzw. zur eher weniger förmlichen Umgebung gepasst hat. Zwischendurch lief auch mal Werbung oder das Handy, das mit der Box verbunden war, hat geklingelt.

Preis: wir haben für zwei Pizzen, einen Aperol und zwei Bier 40, 50€ bezahlt, was ich total gerechtfertigt finde. Wir haben sehr gut gegessen.
