We had to return for a second dinner at this charming restaurant in San Pantaleo. The restaurant is spacious and attractively furnished with some outside seating on terraces. The staff were all super-attentive and knowledgeable, going out of their way to accommodate our needs (gluten-free products were quickly produced without query and staff were able to advise about the suitability of individual dishes). That brings me to the highlight of the restaurant, the menu. We tried a number of dishes, outstanding of which were Lingotto di pecorino grigliato con guanciale sardo, in crosta di carasau con cipolla caramel lata, Costoletta di agnello cbt laccata al miele, cubo di patate fondente e cicoria saltata and Fregola all’assaggio di mare con cozze, vongole, gambero e seppia. The standout dish in the end was cozze con zucchine e zafferano (AMOREVOLI), the most delicious confection of courgette, cream and saffron coating perfectly-cooked mussels. After such a wealth of mains and starters, we were unable to try their dessert menu but I am sure they would be of equally high standard. Very disappointing. Food was ok. Very friendly service staff, and nice atmosphere, but that was about it. My recommendation would be to give it a miss unfortunately.

We’d made a reservation for 9pm. When we arrived they couldn’t find our reservation. Fortunately they were able to find a table but we did have to wait in the middle Off the entrance for 15 mins. There was little in the way of an apology. The food was ok but much better available elsewhere in Costa Smeralda for more reasonable prices. Unfortunately the wait times were excessive. Towards the end we got fed up and After being there 2 hours 40 mins we asked to cancel our dessert as it was already late, we were told we couldn’t as the desert was “just coming”. Instead we asked for our bill To be prepared as we had elsewhere to be. Once we finished our dessert we went straight to the till to settle the bill, which hadn’t been prepared. We weren’t asked whether everything was ok with our experience, and so didn’t get the chance to provide any feedback. €128 euros in total but not worth the wait times or the...

We ordered black ravioli which was good, but only came as 4-5 pieces.

We also ordered the beef fillet with truffle, but were told they were using a different cut of steak and had no truffle (and apparently we would still need to pay the same price). It was genuinely terrible. Another tiny portion and literally half of the meat was pure fat. We sent it back only to wait another 20 minutes to then receive undercooked and overcooked steak on the same plate. Very bizarre.

We informed the staff, who understood and accepted that we would not pay for the steak dish. They explained that they are predominately a fish restaurant and meat is not their strength. I would suggest do not put it on the menu at 35 euros unless it can be cooked properly!

We were only given 10euros off our bill despite having been there for 2 hours and left hungry and needed to go to another...

Le chips di patate avevano così tanto sale che nemmeno io che difficilmente dico qualcosa l’ho dovuto riportare al cameriere perchè alcune erano letteralmente bianche dalla quantità di sale, foto in allegato (8€ di contorno) Servizio: 2 Ho prenotato alle 22.10 e mi è stato richiesto per messaggio di arrivare alle 22.00. Arrivo puntuale e alle 22.15 ci fanno sedere, il menù arriva alle 22.40 e 10 minuti dopo vengono per prendere l’ordine (50 minuti solo per ordinare). In totale onestà la titolare si è scusata dell’attesa e ha spiegato che purtroppo è una situazione che si crea spesso al cambio dei due turni (20.30 e 22.10). È stata molto gentile però se è un problema ricorrente bisognerebbe capire come risolverlo. La sensazione percepita è che facciano più coperti possibili prioritizzando la quantità sulla qualità (in termini di sevizio). Alle 23.10 sono arrivate le cozze e a mezzanotte il secondo (dopo 30 minuti che avevamo finito). Abbiamo terminato di mangiare più di 2 ore dopo l’arrivo. Ambiente: 2 Nell’attesa la lampada del tavolo (essendo posizionati in penombra) si è spenta ed è stata cambiata su nostra richiesta 4 volte (nello specifico, 3 volte si è scaricata, 1 volta è stata portata sporca di sugo ed è stata presa ma mai riportata fino a mia nuova richiesta). Leggevamo il menù al buio. Se hai questo tipo di problematica accendi le lampade a soffitto (presenti ma che son state lasciate spente). Le aspettative erano alte e NON son state rispettate. Se cercate un locale in cui mangiare cozze, questo sicuramente è molto buono ma consiglio di andare solo rigorosamente al primo turno altrimenti l’esperienza viene rovinata.

They have wide range of mussels cooked in so many different styles. Probably the best mussels I have ever had in Italy (Ask for it to be a little spicy 😍) Be sure to also try the lobster pasta (for two) amazing!!! Dessert was also amazing. Great service despite the restaurant being so full every single table was full with big groups but they still managed to give us excellent service, graceful, and memorable! Thank you team!

They have wide range of mussels cooked in so many different styles. Probably the best mussels I have ever had in Italy (Ask for it to be a little spicy 😍) Be sure to also try the lobster pasta (for two) amazing!!! Dessert was also amazing. Great service despite the restaurant being so full every single table was full with big groups but they still managed to give us excellent service, graceful, and memorable! Thank you team!
