The service as well as the welcoming were great. Now some dishes were excellent like the parma with melon ( not much cooking involved but excellent quality ham). Main dishes were very disappointing, the sole was dry and overcooked and the grill platter a disaster: cooked nice but the beef was just a bad cut and not edible, the sausage full of fat chucks and the pork belly dry...the porc chop was ok but not a lot to eat ... The ravioli were ok but nothing special. Anyway longs story short came the bill and this is at a premium...I let you judge it: 2x bottle of water, 2 x apple juice, 2 small beer, 1 ham and melon plate, 1 sole, 1 grill platter, 1 ravioli Ricotta, 1 plate of grille aubergine for 120 euro
Seems a lot to me for the quality we had. Maybe best to stick to pasta and a starter would have been cheaper and better. Location is really nice, service excellent and friendly.
Let's hope the cuisine improves and it could fetch easyly a much need...
Read moreThis is a very nice and peaceful restaurant, with a beautiful charming terrace. You should know smoking is not allowed here neither inside, nor outside, but this is a universal law given by the city council of Olbia for all the public places. The food is great, but not spectacular and the 4 out of 5 is given because the menu doesn’t offer a variety of plates, which are mostly based on seafood. I recommend the place for its atmosphere, the nice service and the peace of being “inside the borgo”, not far from the main street, but far from the...
Read morePretty restaurant and friendly waiters but the food was very average. We had caprese and pasta. The caprese was basic with cheap mozzarella and the pasta was just not good. The sauce tasted like it was from a jar instead of being homemade. The ravioli was also supposed to be ricotta and spinach but inside was only ricotta. Very expensive for the quality of the food. Would recommend for drinks only.
