First time in Otrante and was recommended we try pucce. Walking through the stores and laneways of Otranto, we stumbled upon a lovely place to sit, relax and have lunch. Giulia was knowledgeable in English language, I muddled through Italian. On the menu was pucce and they had one called Speciale, polpo alla granting. (Octopus). We ordered 2 Hugo spritz also.

I highly recommend this sandwich called pucce, and also try with polpo. It was tender to the bite, the bread is a specialty throughout Puglia. Also, the spritz was the best I've had.

Went to pay the bill and chatted with Luigi and expressed how much I enjoyed eating here today. His gratitude was to reward hubbie and myself a shot of lemoncello.

Really atmospheric restaurant in one of the cutest little streets in Otranto. There is outdoor seating, and the server was SO FRIENDLY and even worked with the cook to get me a custom bruschetta that I was craving, which was super fresh. The lemonade was pure and fresh, and the coffee was better than most I have had here so far, and they have soy milk. They also took my coffee off my bill just because they took a little time to bring me the sugar, I was honestly amazed. The lasagna was frozen, the seafood salad was disgusting, and the wine apparently was the cheapest Primitivo from the local shop (14 for less than 2 Eur). Service quality was competing with the food.
