This is the worst “Italian” restaurant in the heart of beautiful Palermo I’ve ever been. It took time to chose a nice place, the location and prices seemed fair, but now I understand I’d pay some more for real Italian food, not for this fake. We were two, and took 1 pasta with clams, where it felt like tasteless clams were added just on top of the noodles, without any souse. We also took carbonara, because I’m a fan of it and know how it has to be properly cooked (ex. without any sour cream) and I asked the waitress: is it good? She said “of course”. They brought pasta with sour cream, which looked awful, separate pieces of sour cream looked like curdled yogurt. besides, wine was low-class and they forgot to bring aperol and after 25 minutes I reminded and got Aperol mainly consisting of ice. On the side, we ordered so to say “caprese”, which was apparently made of tasteless tomato from the nearest supermarket and (non-buffalo) mozzarella. Nothing special at all. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone, except of those who come here just to eat something, not it’s definitely not a real Italian food. After waiting for dinner after a long day I was very disappointed, and it was...

We had an awful dinner experience here last night.

Firstly, we were sat at a dirty table thar hadn't even been cleared from the service before. It then took ages for the front of house to make the table acceptable. He forgot to bring menus over too so we had to ask for these.

It took ages before we were asked about drinks or even water.

One dish was acceptable the other two were inedible and could be described as prison/hospital food.

When ordering a second round of waters, they brought out sparkling and were confused when we sent them back - even though the previous bottles were still on the table.

After giving up with the food we wanted to leave (which was after 11pm) and had to ask for the bill several times over 30 minutes. The waiting staff even tutted and ignored me at one point. We gave up and went into the restaurant to pay - only to find it was completely empty! We waited for five minutes and as we were leaving the manager finally showed up and sorted the bill but was incredibly rude and laughed whilst writing it up.

Terrible experience, make sure to go to Da...

We were waved in by one of the waiters. They seemed very nice and the prices seemed okay. It seems you pay for what you get. Once we got back at our reserved time the restaurant was quiet. We ordered some starters (Sicilian specialties, fried starter and caprese) these were all right but a bit big. After that we had 3 pastas (ravioli, spaghetti carbonara and lasagna alla julia) and two secondi (spicy sausage and grilled squid).

Out of these the starters were all right as mentioned, but just a bit much. The pastas were not okay, but the lasagna was cold in the middle (presumably microwaved). The secondi were also just all right. The spicy sausage was not very exciting or interesting. The grilled squid tastes like any grilled squid in the area.

For drinks we got a few Passion cocktails, these were nice.

Overall the waiters seemed to be quite rushed, taking our starters and putting down the mains at the same time. They did seem like nice people, but they could take it...

My parents and I went there during our holiday in Palermo. When we came there, we felt typical Italian atmosphere. We ordered risotto with seafood, lasagne bolognese and gilthead. During making the order, there was a problem with understanding each other, because the staff rather do not know English. All the dishes were delicious and in attractive prices (e.g. typical Italian lasagne - 7 euro). Generally, I recommend this restaurant because of delicious food in attractive prices, pleasant staff and wonderful atmosphere of tiny lanes around us.

I found a lot of negative fake reviews from other users with 1-5 reviews in general. Same behaviour I see for other restaurants also- a lot of bought reviews. Black PR from competitors. However I asked waitress to show me their kitchen referring to these negative reviews. I saw a real oven, no microwave and no bought frozen pizzas. Yes not all food fully done in the restaurant, but for such prices it’s fully fine. By the way my pizza was delicious as well as tiramisu and Sicilian connoli.

Great setting tucked in one of the most beautiful streets of Palermo. Very friendly staff and most important lovely hearty food. I was eating outside both times I've been there for dinner. I had bucatini with sarde and fennel the first night and swordfish and aubergines caponata (eggplant with tomato sauce) the second time. Delicious and very generous portions (very large glasses of local white wine).
