TOURIST TRAP!! We went there in the evening to have dinner and only because they had tv to show Euro 2021. Francesko, who seems to be the main waiter and who only spoke english there approached with the menu and when we made our choises he was trying to sell us the expensive wine that is in the menu while we asked the cheaper one. So you need to confirm everytime and show with your finger in the menu what you want. He offered us fish menu that they have but we wanted to eat pizza and when he heard this he started to make pokerface as fish menu was more expensive than pizza. The food is made from the cheapest ingredients, until yesterday evening i thought that pizza can never be bad but yesterday evening i tried the worst one. Then when it came to payment they said that card machine is now working and we have to pay by cash! We did not have cash, my boyfriend asked for ATM and they ESCORTED HIM WITH A WAITER TO THE ATM while I was still sitting in the restaurant. It was very annoying and unpleasant. The non working card machine is not my problem! After giving cash back Francesko was standing next to me and waiting for tip while they already charged service fee! Of course i did not pay anything as i did not like the food and their attitude. Other waiters were very kind and helpful even though they spoke very little English. So either dont go there or be...

We went there without looking at the reviews first. The food served looked tasty, so we decided to stay.

It is a family owned restaurant (don't expect some posh place) Good recommendations from the waitor, he told us what is very fresh at the moment. Very tasty. Still cheaper than elsewhere in Italy, or France/Germany/UK... After a pleasant chat, they gave us a free glass of amazing home-made Sicilian wine People are very passionate. It might look like a tourist trap from the side and they will try to drag you into the restaurant, but if you're a decent person and you talk to them and ask for recommendation, you'll have a great time

Payment by card not possible The bill took forever.

Big plus if you can communicate in Italian, since they were patient with beginners (they also speak English and French). We were even offered a coffee and/or more wine and a spot closer to TV if we cheer...

Don't waste your money! It's definitely one of the worst Italian cuisines in Palermo. To make matters worse, they lie to your face.

Here they tell you it would be carbonara ala sicilian, with cheap cooked ham,CREAM/PANE and egg. I even think the sauce was from a convenience bag. I sent that plate back.

What distinguishes a would-be Italian from a real one - the carbonara!

Eggs, pecorino or parmesan or both, guanciale or panetta, pasta water and black pepper. That's it!

There is only 1 version of the sicilian carbonara (pasta cu riquagghiu) and it is vegetarian. The bacon is left out and replaced with olive oil and parsley is added, and the sauce is not really creamy.

The rest of our group wasn't satisfied either, only the pizza was reasonably okay.

Long waiting times, unfriendly staff, I can confirm all the bad reviews.

And of course the worst carbonara in the world had to...

We walked down this alley and spoke to most of the hosts asking about their vegan options. When we arrived here the host spoke with the kitchen and really made us confident that they could give us something vegan off the menu and made sure he understood what we could and couldn't eat. We ordered bruscetta, salata and the vegetariana pizza without cheese. All were really good, especially the pizza was cooked in a wood fire oven and loaded with toppings!! The host was extremely friendly and made sure that the kitchen was well aware of how the meal should be adjusted. We will come back here!! Thank you to the host! We didn't get your name but appreciate your help last night.

Salty food if you like it. The only thing that's nice is the red wine. It cost €20. Service was enthusiastic. The staff was standing outside to attract you into their restaurant. That's already a red alert. The food we ordered was not good, and mostly one taste - salty. We had the seafood risotto, scallops, and mussels and melon prosciutto. There were many other diners, so maybe it's just not to my taste. Moreover, their credit card machine was not working and we were not warned before we were seated. Fortunately we had sufficient cash.
