Tourist trap! Nowhere near the quality you can get for less money away from the tourist restaurants.

Ordered the pistachio pasta without scampi. Pasta was cooked perfectly al dente, but way too salty so that it was hard to taste the pistachio pesto. The pizza was more like a pinsa, nothing special in comparison with all the great pizza we ate in the city the last few days. the tiramisu looked and tasted very much like the one you can buy at Lidl for quarter the price, would almost bet it was exactly that.

The most disappointing part was that they wanted to charge us full price for that pasta and when my friend said that this was unjustified as we had it without the scampi, the managers unfriendly reaction was uncalled for.

On our first day in Palermo we noticed this spot with its charming umbrellas decorating the seating area and did not think much of it. When we needed somewhere to eat dinner for our last night here we happened upon this restaurant again and we are so glad we did! Despite all tables being full already, the staff made room for us to dine inside without notice and ensured the space was comfortable. They were so graciously accommodating and we had a fantastic meal from appetizer, to pasta dishes and the best Lemoncello we have had over many trips throughout Italy. We could not leave without buying a unique handcrafted purse as a special memento of this lovely evening that we only noticed because we were dining inside. Friendly staff but very disappointing food, particularly for the price. We were excited to try the place after speaking to the staff who were very passionate and were happy to wait (over 1.5 hours) for food to arrive. However, when food did come it did it was cold, bland and disappointing (with the swordfish being very dry). In addition, we were told they had sold out of calamari about an hour after we placed our order so we were given a different main but then people who had arrived after us were served calamari which was confusing to say the least.
