Ristorante Graziano al Mare — Restaurant in Palermo

The restaurant had a very nice ambience, by the waterfront, lovely views. Staff were friendly and efficient. However the food was a bit overpriced compared to what you can find in the old town. We ordered the pasta with iberico pork ragu which was fine but slightly bland. I had high hopes for the lobster pasta, however I had one small claw ( as in the photo) the rest was small scraps of lobster meat and mostly from the chest section of the lobster with small shells and gill pieces I had to pick out of the sauce. Towards the end it was mouthfuls of crunchy bits I was picking out. The chef may want to consider passing the sauce through a fine sieve first and may be using some tail meat. It was not worth €25. Riprendo quanto già segnalato dall’utente Valeria. L’area dove sorge il locale a seguito degli interventi di riqualificazione dell’autorità portuale di Palermo ha riacquistato valore rendendo fruibile una area precedentemente abbandonata.

Fatta questa premessa il locale è pretenzioso. Il Prezzo qualità è decisamente disallineato. In fase di prenotazione telefonica (dovevamo essere in quattro per poi diventare tre) ci hanno stressato se il quarto commensale sarebbe stato presente o meno.

Alla fine eravamo in tre e per una questione di correttezza abbiamo chiamato dicendo che saremmo stati in tre. Arrivati ho capito perché volevano sapere se eravamo tre o quattro. Ci hanno messo su un tavolo abbastanza stretto per tre commensali. Il tavolo per quattro era il doppio del nostro

Come antipasto abbiamo ordinato il fritto di calamari con verdure e il polpo. Il fritto è arrivato dopo neanche cinque minuti (segno che era destinato ad altri) mentre il polp!! è arrivato 15 minuti dopo. Il fritto misto di calamari conteneva solo due “misere” zucchine. Il secondo antipasto (polpo) ok ma niente di che.

Come primi piatti abbiamo preso spaghetti con i ricci di mare e gamberi crudi (equivalente di un cucchiaio da the). Il piatto Costa 23€. Il riccio di mare era “annegato” in una salsina che ne copriva il sapore anziché esaltarlo. Denota o mancanza di capacità professionale o mediocrità della materia prima.

Come vino abbiamo preso un Riesling di Planeta (35€)!. La carta dei vini fa pena (un foglio A4 plastificato con diverse cancellature fatte con del nastro adesivo). Ma dico io cosa ci vuole a ristamparlo.!!! La tipica indolenza o “lagnusia (pigrizia)”

Il tiramisù servito nel bicchiere di plastica. I camerieri non coordinati fra loro. Un “maitre di sala” con maglietta trasandata e fare dinoccolato. Per pagare due antipasti, tre primi, un vino e tre desserts per “soli” 160€ abbiamo aspettato quasi venti minuti poiché hanno un solo POS. (Scontrino non corretto, “implicazioni/ottimizzazioni” fiscali per dichiarare che l’importo non è stato pagato?)

Giudizio finale. Locale molto pretenzioso. I prezzi salati non rispecchiano la qualità ne tantomeno il “servizio” dei coordinatori della sala e della cucina. Non ci torneremo sicuramente per cenare. Forse per un caffè...

Really good spot at seaside. Services are attentive. The food unfortunately is definitely the weakest. Bread is good. Grilled octopus is seasoned right but a little too tough. We ordered grilled tuna, very fresh but almost no taste and in some creamy potato paste. We also ordered piglet which is better seasoned, very tender meat. I would have really enjoyed but it was also served in creamy potato paste and ruined the dish by making it too heavy. Grilled vegetables are cooked to perfection but very little seasoning. They are large portions compared to other Italian dishes we tried this week. I will suggest come to have a drink and watch the sunset but...
