We didn’t even take pictures of our meals because that’s how bad it was. We had walked by this restaurant a few days prior and when we talked to the owner/manager and looked at all the beautiful pics of their food, we couldn’t wait to come back… We arrived at 1950 and picked our table in the garden. Looked at the menu and couldn’t decide. When she arrived, we asked her for recommendations. My friend wanted a pizza, I wanted pasta or pizza with fish and we wanted to share a salad. She was so incredibly rude and had zero patience. The menu must have 50 different pizzas and I’m sure that I’m not the first person to want time to ask questions and review the menu! I even told her to get my friends pizza and our salad and I would decide then. She never came back to our table. My caprese salad had 1 - one - sprig of basil. No balsamic vinegar was offered, just olive oil. The margherita pizza my friend ordered was soggy and under cooked, but burned on the crust… hmmm I was disgusted by her pushy, rude behavior and felt like I was an absolute inconvenience and a waste of her time. I am living in Palermo for one month and was looking forward to many pizzas at this highly recommended restaurant - so disappointed. Not the Sicilian experience I have received...

the restaurant is open from 19:20, no one is interested in the client. The crew eat their dinner to the best of them, laughing as if they couldn't eat before the restaurant opens for a customer. you'd better avoid this place, the customer is not the most important thing here.

maybe for you the lack of punctuality and ignoring the client on the pretext that you don't know the language is fun, but not for me. Nobody even greeted us and provided the menu during this time. I know better fun and spending time on vacation than looking at an empty table in a restaurant. But no, I should apologize to you for even wanting to come to the restaurant to eat if I could. I was probably supposed to wait 30 minutes for someone to kindly approach and of course to figure out that someone called someone and was already coming to see me. then let the crew finish their lunch quietly, because that's more important than any customer. then, after everyone has been eaten, maybe someone would like to prepare a pizza for us. And so, after an hour of waiting for one of the faster dishes, I should pay politely, give 5 stars and leave satisfied. good luck in the future for your...

Wow. Where do I start? One of the best pizzas I have ever eaten. If the pizaiola was a little better, it would be above every pizza I have ever eaten. And that's comparing in Italian standards. The dough is pretty good. Toppings are elite tier. The mozzarella di buffala they have used on my pizza was a little milkier than other bufallas I have eaten and tasted like heaven. Pizzaiola also pretty good. Service also. You have a huge amount of dough-choices and style of pizzas to choose from. Just look it up. As dessert I had tiramisu, which was decorated lovely in a glass on a table with three different sauces (Lemon/Kiwi/Strawberry). Only thing I have missed was a vino di casa (maybe I didnt see it on the card). But besides that, almost perfect. Their pizza is incredible. Prices are reasonable. Paid 30€ for 2 pizzas, two drinks and one dessert. They gave me free Espresso, and offered me a shot for free. So that I tipped 5bucks for the high quality service. I strongly recommend you to eat at least once there. Pizza 9/10 Service 10/10 Location 7/10 Dolce 9/10 Friendliness 10/10 Prices for all this Quality 10/10. If I ever come back to Palermo, I'll 100%...

I went here on a recommendation from a local. I ordered a bruschetta, grilled prawns and seafood risotto Bruschetta was basic and didn’t taste fresh Prawns were probably the oldest batch from the freezer. They were so old that the heads easily came apart when I tried peeling the shells, and the shells stuck to the bodies. That’s when I knew they were not fresh. And the flesh was so soft on all of them. I tried 3 and left 2 which the waiter saw but did not even wonder why those 2 were there Risotto was salty, came with a bunch of mussels and 6-8 small empty clam shells Oh and I sat down at 9, ordered at 9:10 and food came out at 10. Was a Saturday so maybe it’s that Service was basic but they did get me a table within 2 mins of turning up without reservation Such a disappointing meal

We reserved because we'd heard how good their pizzas are...& we were welcomed so warmly. I chose to try The Harlequin pizza because the dough was labelled STG. It is so interesting to see pizza dough explained similar to a wine tasting!! It was light, crispy and puffy around the edges - delicious & woodfired. We felt the Sicilian hospitality all night! And we really liked our waiter Francesco- his beaming smile made our night! The restaurant has beautiful trees laden with blossoms around it, soft ambient lighting where we were seated & other tables were more brightly lit- do Italians like more light at dinner? Everyone is looked after🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Absolutely delicious Neapolitan style pizza!! We got one with pumpkin cream, zucchini, ricotta, and onions (omitted the prawns because my sister is vegetarian) and the Pomo D’oro one with sun dried tomatoes, ricotta and pesto — that was our favorite. Also fabulous starters: panelle and croquettes. All of the employees spoke English which was helpful and they were super sweet but not overbearing at all. Can’t wait to go back and try the other options!
