Ich war gestern bei Pastando essen und war wirklich schockiert ĂŒber den schlechten Service. Die Kellnerin war Ă€uĂerst unfreundlich â so etwas habe ich selten erlebt. Die Nudeln waren komplett hart und ungenieĂbar.
Als ich gerade dabei war, die letzten Bissen aus meinem Teller zu essen, zog mir die Kellnerin wortlos den Teller weg, obwohl ich noch mit der Gabel darin war, und forderte mich sogar auf, die Gabel abzugeben.
Kurz darauf fragte sie, ob wir Dessert möchten â als wir verneinten, knallte sie uns ohne ein Wort die Rechnung auf den Tisch.
Beim Bezahlen wurden wir mehrmals dazu gedrÀngt, bar zu zahlen, obwohl wir wiederholt gesagt haben, dass wir mit Karte zahlen möchten.
Als wir dann auch noch gesehen haben, dass zusĂ€tzlich eine ServicegebĂŒhr berechnet wurde, waren wir einfach nur fassungslos. Ein solch unhöfliches und respektloses Verhalten ist mir selten begegnet.

Ieri sono stata da Pastando e sono rimasta davvero scioccata dal servizio pessimo. La cameriera Ăš stata estremamente scortese â una cosa del genere mi Ăš capitata raramente. La pasta era completamente cruda e immangiabile.
Stavo finendo gli ultimi bocconi dal piatto quando la cameriera me lo ha tirato via senza dire nulla, mentre avevo ancora la forchetta dentro, e mi ha persino chiesto di consegnarle la forchetta.
Poi ci ha chiesto se volevamo il dolce â al nostro ânoâ, ci ha sbattuto il conto sul tavolo senza dire una parola.
Al momento del pagamento ci ha insistito piĂč volte di pagare in contanti, anche se avevamo chiaramente detto che volevamo usare la carta.

The place was obviously understaffed when we went but that didn't deter the waitress Rosalia, who was absolutely amazing. She was undeterred by the fact she was drowning in customers and spent the entire evening with a huge smile on her face and chatted with us about many things. She was a delight and easily one of the best servers we have had in probably all of Italy. We were impressed by her charisma and attitude while she was the only front of house employee in the entire place. The only other employee was the chef and I didn't catch his name but he did an amazing job as well. The food was good, the ac was non existent on a hot night in Sicily but Rosalia made us feel welcome and doted on despite clearly being swamped with work.    Read moreI wish I could live in an apartment above this restaurant. It was by far the best restaurant experience during our stay in Sicily. The concept of this restaurant is exceptionally well thought out. Prices and ingredients are very transparent. You can choose your dish, the pasta to go with it and the size of the plate (150g / 250g). The prices are more than reasonable.
Emilia and Guiliana were very helpful and kind. They tried their best to translate and help us decide. And Fabio was the happiest cook I have ever seen. He always had a bright smile on his face while cooking â and you could really taste the difference. The Swordfish pasta I had here was by absolute far the BEST pasta I had in whole of Sicily. I was happy to the last bite.
So please, if you are ever near Palermo: This restaurant alone is worth the trip. I would take the whole restaurant...
