Pepèn. This is one of those names of places to eat in Parma that whoever you ask info about you will always get a smile and then this answer: Best panini ever! Because it is. It has a long history of selling amazing panini from ages and it still able to offer the same quality after so much time. Whenever I'm in Parma, I always get there at least once to enjoy the happiness of eating a spaccaballe and possibly a sandwich with pesto or horse polpette (which is a standard here in parma). It can be very crowded, especially on Saturday, so I suggest you to plan your visit carefully. But I'm totally sure you will enjoy...and likely, get back there soon again! Absolutely...

Amazing Panini in the heart of Parma. Great and fun experience from a local small business. The line can be long, especially during lunchtime, but well worth the wait . It’s a local spot so you get real experience of Parma . Reasonable price and friendly staff happy to see tourists especially after they were closed for so long due to the pandemic. The guy was so nice that he recommended us a great restaurant, which became one of our favorite in Parma. I recommend this place to anyone...

We came at the tail end of the lunch service and it was relatively quiet by then. But I'm still amazed at how kind the staff was to us even though they get such a high amount of tourists. This being said it was a REALLY great sandwich, I got the 'spicy' cavallo panino which was extremely fresh & tasty and delivered a pleasant tingle. Paired with a local lambrusco it was...
