Mama Mia - Bottega & Piaceri — Restaurant in Parma

Terrible experience at Mama Bottega & Piaceri. The service was extremely rude and unprofessional from start to finish. No one spoke English, only Italian, and instead of trying to help they made us feel unwelcome. We were given a table and then ignored for 30 minutes before anyone even came to take our order. When we tried to call a waitress, no one answered or bothered.

After finally placing our order, the food took 1 hour and 30 minutes to arrive. When we asked how long it would take, the response was simply “we don’t know.” Meanwhile, several tables who arrived after us were served first. The waiters were all rude, impolite, and not even one person said sorry for the delay.

Darò una stella solo ed esclusivamente per il servizio, altrimenti la valutazione sarebbe stata di cinque stelle per la qualità dei piatti. La nostra esperienza è stata completamente rovinata da una gestione del servizio pessima e un atteggiamento scortese da parte del personale di sala, in particolare di una cameriera. Innanzitutto, chiedendo semplicemente la disponibilità di un tavolo, la cameriera è andata in evidente difficoltà, perdendo almeno 5 minuti in spiegazioni eccessive sulla gestione delle prenotazioni, con tono altezzoso, invece di limitarsi a un rapido "attendete un attimo". Ci siamo poi seduti alle 12:45 e avevamo un impegno (una visita in un museo) alle 13:50. La comanda è stata presa solo dopo più di 30 minuti. Non è stato dato alcun avviso sui tempi di attesa lunghi. Se un locale è in difficoltà, è doveroso informare subito i clienti, permettendo loro di scegliere se restare o cercare altrove. Quando, dopo la lunga attesa, abbiamo chiesto con cortesia se potevamo ordinare, la stessa cameriera ci ha risposto in modo brusco, dicendo che dovevamo aspettare il nostro turno. Nonostante avessimo richiesto di ricevere tutti i piatti insieme, sono arrivati in momenti diversi, lasciando alcuni di noi ad aspettare il proprio piatto mentre gli altri mangiavano (se non avessimo avuto un tagliere da dividere, avrei guardato gli altri mangiare). Quando abbiamo fatto notare gentilmente questo inconveniente, la cameriera ha risposto in modo ostile, interrompendoci continuamente e impedendoci di esporre la nostra osservazione. La scortesia è proseguita fino alla fine: un nostro amico ha detto in maniera tranquillissima che mancava solo l’ultimo piatto e la risposta della cameriera è stata sgarbata e poco professionale. dirty glasses. I asked for another glass and it came exactly the same, with lip marks and etc. They just ran the glasses through water and put them on the table wet. PIGS! PIGS!
