This cozy pizzeria lived up to the reviews and recommendations we had read. We stopped by for a late lunch and the place was packed. We waited about 15 minutes and got a table. The pizza makers were putting out pie after pie in quick order. The tables are close together. Everyone seemed to be enjoying their meals. It was very convivial atmosphere. We each had our own pizza and beer selections for a total of 25 euros. Happy to see beer on tap (birra alla spina seems to be the only phrase my husband has learned!). My only disappointment was the sparse basil on my pizza. To make up for it there were loads of fresh mushrooms on my husband’s pizza.

If you write this is a Napolitana style pizza then you’ve never been to Napoli. The pizza was ok, the dough was not the best, but the worst of all was the service, very very bad, felt like they were doing me a favor. Not even “thank you for coming” when we left. The creepy guy doing the pizzas would not stop to stare at a young woman that was sitting on a table in front of him in a very predator way and he saw me looking at him with dissatisfaction and continued like he didn’t care. I do not recommend. Prego.

I will come back to this pizzeria everytime i will be in Perugia. I absolutely love it. We had the Mediterranea and the Prosciutto e funghi and at the end the Tiramisu. What I like most about the Mediterranea is that they don’t put a big pile of rucola on top of it, it is very well balanced. For the summer i recommend making a reservation in the evening if you want to sit on the terrace because it gets crowded very fast.

Apoling service. Avoid! There are a ton of eateries in Perugia that respectfully serve their clients. I sat at 19:25 while they officially open at 19:30. My wife and kid were to join me in literally 5 minutes as the kid walked slower towards the place having a blister on his foot. I ran in front to get the table. Yet, within those 5 minutes waiter twice rudely warned me I must order immediately. Forced I just left. Clearly no matter how good their pizza is I will never return there. Amazing how many people will undergo humiliating service just to save few euros. Shame for otherwise great hospitality across Perugia. This completely spoiled our family...
