We stayed 2 weeks in Perugia in March and visited the little eatery several times. It is quite cozy (small) with only 4 or 5 tables. It appears that during nicer months there is outdoor seating. The clientele are a mix of students, locals and travelers. The pulled pork sandwich, served with your choice of sauces, is very tasty - the pork is not dried out, but juicy, just like a good pulled pork sandwich should be in my estimation. We had mixed appetizer which comes in 3 sizes – we were overly enthusiastic on the first visit and order the large one – small or medium is quite satisfying for 2 people, especially if you are going to enjoy one of the sandwiches. I had the pulled porchetta sandwich with mustard & fig dressing and it was up there with the best sandwiches I’ve had. Additionally, since I was taking the sandwich to go as I was catching a train, he packed it up quite nicely, put the sauce on the side and made sure everything was in place so it wouldn’t leak. Il locale a Perugia offre un'esperienza gustativa autentica e accogliente! Gli aperitivi con salumi e formaggi sono eccezionali, con una selezione curata e sapori che ti trasportano direttamente nelle colline umbre. Il prodotto che viene offerto è molto ampio, da salumi di ogni tipo a formaggi particolari, che consiglio caldamente di assaggiare con le confetture che vengono proposte appositamente da loro. La posizione strategica del locale lo rende un punto di riferimento per i turisti in visita a Perugia! Situato nel cuore della città, è facilmente accessibile e offre una pausa deliziosa durante le esplorazioni giornaliere. L'atmosfera è vibrante e il personale è sempre cordiale e disponibile. La vasta scelta di vini e birre proposte è la ciliegina sulla torta! Dal vino della casa o altri tipi di vini, passando per birre artigianali locali, c'è qualcosa per tutti i gusti.
