Baraonda Pescara — Restaurant in Pescara

We stopped here early in the evening on a warm Sunday without a reservation as a family of four. We were very quickly accommodated by a very polite and charming member of the team. The menu was American style (burgers etc) but with a few interesting twists. There was a good few vegetarian options and some tasty sides. We very much liked the guacamole bites, and the fries were crispy and well seasoned. The burgers were great too, good portions, nice fillings and enough to fill us up. I had a lovely gin and tonic too. The kids were super happy and so were mum and dad!

The staff really were nice too, full of smiles and they seemed to enjoy their jobs.

Upon entering the restaurant, we were immediately greeted by a very good looking room design. The green plant walls matched perfectly with the lamps and the tree like pillar in the middle. While ordering, although there weren’t any physical menus available and we had to do it online, we were quite satisfied with the many options offered. For the food, there doesn’t seem to be any potential causes for disappointment, as the burgers and the finger food tasted amazing. The services was also very patient, polite and friendly. Le fettine si sono ristrette e di molto, prima era grandi il doppio. Ci hanno servito in maniera molto veloce finite le note positive. Sul Menù c'è l'alternativa al vitello che è carne di tacchino ma aimé non ce l'hanno più ma il peggio deve ancora venire. Ordiniamo 3 fettine panate, mia moglie prende la tirolese con le noci. Appena la assaggia si rende conto che le noci puzzavano di vecchio, erano rancide e poi ci abbiamo trovato una bella sorpresa. L'abbiamo rimandata indietro il cameriere, un ragazzetto penso non italiano, è stato molto cortese e si è mortificato quando è venuto a togliere il piatto. Ci ha proposto un nuovo piatto offerto da lui (testuali parole)ma mia moglie ormai era nauseata da quanto visto e siamo andati via. In cassa il ragazzo non ha capito la gravità dell'accaduto, nell'immediato ci ha messo sul conto anche la fettina rimandata indietro, poi scusandosi l'ha tolta. Fossi stato io il titolare avrei offerto la cena visto l'accaduto ma niente. I prezzi erano buoni fin tanto che la carne era enorme ma ora è diventato un piatto normalissimo e il costo di 16 € e spropositato come lo è il coperto, per 3 persone 7,5€ 3 tovagliette di carta e 3 piatti di plastica anche mezzi rovinati. 49€ 2 fettine un litro d'acqua e una coca piccola (ma proprio piccola).
