Pizzeria Don Mimi' — Restaurant in Pieve a Nievole

We were staying in town and this was the first place we chose for dinner. We were blown away as this was our first experience with Italy pizza. Wow!! Soo good!! we got a Italian bottle of wine for €14 and it was delicious. The staff didn’t speak English, but we used Google translator and another customer in the restaurant helped us to figure out what to order as well. I wish we could’ve gone back another time as it was probably our favorite meal. Being from America, you expect a margarita pizza to be what you know here but it’s pretty much a cheese pizza. Also after having four different pizzas that week you realize that it is never cut, but it makes it that much more fun to tear apart. Cute place and atmosphere! Wowwwwwww. Big wowww. To be honest I have never expected to eat the best pizza in my life, in some little town in Italy. It was just a coincidence to come here as we have accommodation near pizzeria, but it was pure destiny. Pizzas were amazing, dough perfect. Shiraz wine also great. Waitress was really kind and helpful as we are not Italian speakers. She was speaking English. We were sitting outside and just a complementary to the waitress. Owners should reward staff like this. We are staying here 7 days, so probably we will come back again. Also I have read some "bad" reviews from other people and I should just laugh out loud for such a poor comments. Pessima esperienza. Ho ritrovato sullo scontrino arancini ,quando io ho preso tutt altro,prezzi diversi ed esagerati per la qualità offerta,pizza senza lode e senza infamia,c è sicuramente di meglio nei pressi di pieve a Nievole, Monsummano e Montecatini....di molto. Inoltre le pizze non rispettavano le foto,nel senso che la pizza scelta vista in foto era totalmente diversa da quella che mi è stata servita, avendo molto meno vista l enorme differenza Inoltre il servizio è stato inesistente,siamo rimasti senza un coperto per tutto il tempo dividendoci le posate per non usare le mani. veramente un peccato. La mia colpa è stata quella di non controllare lo scontrino con le diciture e i prezzi ovviamente ho speso di più ma ero uscita per rilassarmi no per stare attenta sul chi va là...mai più.

Volevo aggiungere che chi merita da me ha cinque stelle,chi invece lavora male,con prodotti buoni ma non eccellenti che ha un servizio di basso livello,per vari motivi:lasciando con un solo coperto una coppia ,aspettare un ora per due pizze con un locale vuoto,per aver pagato in più e prodotti mai consumati.... Mi dispiace se per pulirvi la coscienza gettate fango su chi da voi e venuto a mangiare fidandosi ma non è così,io mi sono veramente trovata male molto,non ho controllato e ho pagato in più,ho dovuto dividere forchetta e coltello ma insomma ma per piacere...
