So so very kind especially to this American family that did not learn enough Italian! We have gone everyday to them for our morning lattes, espresso and caffe crema and pastries. They have some tables so you can sit and enjoy or stand at the coffee bar. They have the delicious Positano lemon treat and we've gone back midday for sandwiches. The prices are Very reasonable. We also bought our bus tickets here for interno positano. We took ferry to the other Amalfi towns instead of bus. On the one day us girls were slow getting ready my husband got our lattes to go! So so nice... but I missed the atmosphere of sitting and enjoying there! The bus stop is right nearby too to take to bottom of Positano. Can't say enough...
Read moreThe bar and location is really nice, the old waiter was very friendly but the young waiter (seems to be the son of the old one, about 40-45 years old) was arrogant and ignorant not letting me to see the content of the tourist map (how can I choose between 3 different maps if I can't compare them???). don't ask too much and if you do it, do it in perfect Italian as if not this man get nervous...In my opinion this man should get a course as waiter in a really touristic place or I would suggest him to open only for Italian speakers (if Italian law lets him...) the coffee was...
Read moreGreat pastries, especially the croissant with cream. However, the coffee was luke-warm and we could barely taste the coffee in the latte.
Lady at the front counter was quite rude, insisting that we couldn’t pay with card for bus tickets, even though we were also purchasing coffees and cakes in the same transaction! The only requirement she had informed us of was the $10 eftpos minimum (we had met this requirement), but her story changed at the mention of bus tickets.
They could treat their paying customers a lot better...
