We’ve booked this restaurant to celebrate new year’s evening. It looked that it would be nice to be there to celebrate jumping into 2025. We received confirmation of the booking when doing it and then a reminder the day before. On the 31st we went there in the afternoon in order to check what the menu will be. The person working in the kitchen was there, really nice and polite but he couldn’t find us on the list so he called the owner. The owner arrived and behaved like a jerk. He said we were not ont his list and « basta ». We showed him the confirmation email and the reminder, he didn’t care, we were not on his list, end of story. It’s not like you can easily find option for the 31st of December evening when it’s already 4pm. He really wasn’t trying to find any solution and offered none. The message was clear « you won’t eat in my restaurant and where you go is not my business »… even though he saw we booked his place weeks ago. At some point, the fact that he doesn’t want us here being clear, we asked him if we could find us another place. Then he was SO HAPPY we won’t be at his place, he relaxed, called another place and booked us a table. Few days later, I contacted « the fork » to understand what happened there. They went into the case and saw that the owner of the restaurant changed our reservation himself to the 2nd of January… so the guy knew exactly what he did, who we were, that we booked the table for the 31st, that he is doing it on purpose. After him being rude and not helping, I was tired of writing a comment. After all, we didn’t have the opportunity to eat there. But when I learned not only he didn’t care when we were in a pity situation, but he knew the whole thing and orchestrated it, I am really disappointed. The guy is shameless, lying at our faces, that’s really a shame to be that kind of human.

Recommended by the hotel I was staying in cause was close by and it was a good fine. We sat outside. It was a small menu, but everything was delicious. I had the tuna which I must say was outstanding. It came with some kind of long string beans which I’ve never had and I really enjoyed we also had the special pasta with truffles Liked it. A lot had an order of tomatoes with olives and capers, another good choice and another order of tomatoes and fish balls and then they made a special tomato and pasta dish for a friend who needed that all. I know it was a wonderful evening. Enjoyed the outdoors the waiters both of them were excellent, they gave us all the information we needed. They professional and it was a lovely evening. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Absolutely exquisite. Deserves many more stars than what is available. Every dish was a wonderful mix of flavors with top notch, fresh ingredients. Our lodging host recommended this as his favorite restaurant. I will say first that the service was outstanding, warm and impeccable. They have a wonderful staff. Then, as the food began to arrive, we were in heaven. The bread and olive oil were both outstanding. The amuse bouche from the chef was fabulous and so innovatively presented. My husband and I shared the octopus salad and just could not believe how fabulous it was. I had the mahi-mahi dish with celeriac. Oh my gosh, how do they achieve these flavors and the fish was perfectly cooked and so so fresh. We eat fish all the time being from Seattle, but I have never had such delicious fish. My husband had the veal cheek with mashed potatoes and it was sublime. I don't know what was in the mashed potatoes, but they were divine and the veal cheek was as well. We had a wonderful lemon cheesecake for dessert. Oh, and the glass of red wine my husband had was wonderful. Do not miss this restaurant. We have traveled for two months a year for the last four years and eat every meal out. We've had many great meals but this was the best because of the fresh ingredients and perfect marriage of flavors and...

Just walked out of the restaurant after dinner, and it was so sensational I feel compelled to leave a review now. Staff were exceptional - we didn’t have a booking and they fit us in graciously. They also spoke English for very well which was helpful. Really lovely ambience, with tables out on the street, right around the corner from the church. Now the food…wow. Eggplant parmigiana is a must. It’s a dish that will stay on my mind (I asked for the recipe and I was serious! I would love to know how you make it!!). Then also the suckling pork. Generous cut, melt in your mouth, nice caramelisation and a beautiful herb crust. Bread was beautiful, olive oil fragrant and of very high quality. We have been travelling through Sicily for 2 weeks and this is one of our best meals, so delicious and exciting, as the dishes are modern takes on classics. We paid 51€ for 1 entree, 2 mains and water. Extremely great value for what is a 10/10 meal. I would happily recommend that this is a must visit...
