They gave me 2 balls ice cream even though I asked for 1 ball, this wouldn't be a problem if they had let me know but they did not. The prices are ridiculously high for the quality of the gelatos considering that I've had better experiences in other places in the town. Not to mention the service with impolite and rude staffs, they are sarcastic and make jokes about the foreigners in Italian (I know that because I speak Portuguese and Spanish so it easy to get as the languages are very similar to Italian). It is shameful to Italy to have people like that, considering that I have had better experiences with other Italian natives. We’ve tried several gelateria’s in Rapallo and we always seem to make our way back to Simonetti. Overall, it is our favorite place to get gelato. The consistency and flavor of the gelato is the best.
