Last evening I wanted to try Il Foccacciao, and even though there were at least 10 open tables they refused to seat me, because I was by myself! Unbelievable! As my wife was out of town I thought this might be an opportunity to explore the city and try a few restaurants. We are now full time residents of Rapallo and do tend to dine out quite frequently, however I can guarantee, this is one restaurant as a couple we will never visit. In response to the owners reply that I was offered to sit indoors, that is TOTALLY UNTRUE. I would have happily accepted an indoor table. I was not offered any OPTION other than they would not seat me. Additionally, I walked by this restaurant an hour later and there were still open tables. So not only is the manager not very accommodating he is also willing to tell untruths.
