As a loyal customer since the very first day Blu Marino opened, it’s rare for me to leave without feeling completely satisfied… and today I want to share why this restaurant deserves all 5 stars — and more.

Atmosphere & hospitality: The setting is elegant but never cold: refined, with modern touches and well-balanced spaces, without ever being excessive. Every time I come, I feel welcomed as a special guest, not just another diner. The staff — friendly, attentive, never intrusive — always strikes the perfect balance between professionalism and warmth.

Food quality & presentation: The tasting menu is a true journey into the sea: each course tells a different story, crafted with the freshest ingredients, often locally sourced, cooked and plated with meticulous care. I’ve tried nearly everything, and I’m always impressed by the ability to surprise: delicate raw dishes, seafood pastas that taste like the ocean breeze, and fish mains cooked to perfection. Every plate is a small masterpiece, proof that excellence here is never compromised.

Service & timing: Service flows smoothly — precise but never rushed. Dishes arrive at just the right pace: not too fast, not too slow, giving you time to savor, talk, and look forward to what comes next. The staff is always ready to respond to any request with a smile.

Value for money: Considering the setting, the top-quality ingredients, and the flawless service, the price of the tasting menu is more than justified. This is not just dinner — it’s a full culinary experience.

This restaurant offers probably the best experience I will have in a lifetime! First of all, the staff was amazing. A huge thanks to Alessandro and the rest of the crew for making our evening so great! And the prices are so affordable that it is hard to believe its true. We ordered one tasting menu and one entree and quickly realised that we ordered much more food than we could ever finish. Then we asked if two people could eat from one order of the tasting menu, we even offered to pay more. But the staff refused to even take a dime of extra payment. They went so above and beyond for us, we greatly appreciate the effort the staff made to make our evening so great.

And the food was amazingly fresh and delicious. And the wine was so tasty as well, and complimentary. We even got a glass of some Sardinian liqeur at the end of our meal, as well as a glass of bubbles at the start, complimentary.

We want to give a big thank you to the staff for making us feel so welcome! This was really an authentic and delicious experience! We would not hesitate to recommend this...

Staff were marvelous like Bebeto and Romário. For sea food lovers, The best meal we had in Rome , very nice to eat something fresh, delicious and with quality! Definitely the menu degustation is a must try, it can look a bit too much but have faith and you will make it through. One of the best meals, if not the best, we had in Europe for the last few years. And for the Rome residents definitely is a must try! so mouthwatering, loved it. If start to feel full give it a deep breath and wait a couple of minutes because the next courses are coming and you don't want to miss them. Also you can ask staff for smaller portions.
