Cappuccino Doc — Restaurant in Rome

Coming from the U.S. and having travelled around many countries in the EU, this was easily the best coffee I have ever had. Dare I say best in the world, aside from the quality of the coffee and tasty baked goods/sandwhiches, the flavors don’t just come from syrup pumps like in most shops. We came here almost everyday in our 4 days in Rome and it was amazing every time. Furthermore, the owner (Stephen is his name I believe), is very nice despite the chaotic morning rushes. He also recognized us the second day and finished my order for me because he remembered it from the day before. The only negative about this place is that I don’t think I will ever have another Cappuccino as good...

Very nice place and good prices too in my opinion! A filled croissant for 2€ is decent. 1.30€ for a latte macchiato is also great! However, the packed sandwiches were exactly the same we had in a different cafe just 70 cents more. So that’s a bit of a rip off 😅

However, atmosphere is quite nice and the people are kind.

Would definitely recommend the pistachio “doughnuts” (idk what to call it but look at the pic). One of the best sweets/“cakes” I’ve ever had! Also the “Berlin doughnut” with chocolate and the croissants with (Nutella) chocolate were out if...

So I have been living in Rome for roughly four months now and I directly started to try out each café on my way to work. Being in Rome, there were quite a bunch. This one, Cappuccino Doc, is by far the best one in the area. Coffee is great, served al vetro (as it should), cornetto's are great and the guys working are super friendly and even help me to learn italian.

I therefore rank this five cappuccino's out of five...
