Grekos — Restaurant in Rome

I am not expert in Greek food, but everything I ate there was crazy good. Tzatziki, fried feta and chicken was very tasty. Main dishes portion is so big that, main course itself is enough to go above being full. We also had greek beer but it was quite average beer. And finally we had dolce with orange aroma and ice cream on top (i dobt remember the name, maybe protoulaki), it was also good but we could hardly eat after all those food. Definitely recommended. Prices are okay, not very cheap or not...

Grekos is a genuine Greek bistro where you can truly enjoy authentic Greek street food and few other traditional dishes such as dolmadakis. Their souvlaki and gyros are amazing. These are even tastier than the ones I ate in Greece! I fully recommend this restaurant to everyone who likes Greek food. Amazing is also that they serve Retsina which is not easy to find elsewhere in Rome. I will definitely go to Grekos often. Thank you guys and keep up the...

Ieri sera, prenotazione alle 21:30, arriviamo puntuali carichi col mood “ANNAMO A MAGNÀ ER GRECO”. Ci fanno accomodare, ordiniamo due piatti (Hirino e Kotopoulo) e una bottiglia d’acqua NATURALE. Il cameriere arriva subito in 30 secondi con l’acqua — portandola frizzante, vabbe’, può capitare ma.. giusto il tempo di aprire la bottiglia d acqua e riempire il bicchiere, arrivano immediatamente i piatti. Vi giuro tra l ordinazione con il cameriere e l arrivo dei piatti in tavola sono passati solo 2/3 MINUTI. Morale della favola: la carne e il pollo erano FREDDI, le patatine idem, giusto il pane era caldo..ovviamente non mi metto a fare scenate in sala ma abbiamo mangiato in fretta e in furia perché il cibo si stava piano piano sempre più congelando ahah. Ci alziamo delusi al massimo appena finiti quei piatti freddi con zero piacere di riordinare e ci dirigiamo in cassa.

Il cassiere: “Ragazzi, com’è andata?” Rispondo sincero: “Così e così, non bene.” Lui mi guarda, accenna un sorriso alla “vabbè tanto il posto non è il mio” e dice: “Ok, sono 31€.” Pago e apposto così, TE NON MI VEDI PIÙ.

Serata durata meno di 20 minuti. Ristorante fast (and furious) food, ma è stato un tutorial su come non si tratta un cliente. Mai più....
