Allright — Restaurant in Rome

We have been in Rome for a week had various meals in different restaurants ect and all were fantastic unfortunately our last night we decided to visit here!! The lovely lady waitress was great although looked a little rushed off her feet we ordered the food I instantly noticed my plate was covered in pepper along with the food but thought I would try first IF ONLY the pepper was the issue unfortunately there was enough salt in the Carbonara to do harm to a human in one plate, I didn't eat any more of it and IF I was asked at any point I would have politely said so, my husbands food was edible but not great we still did pay as my meal was 12 euros so cheap but if I had been in the UK I would have not paid and said so even if I wasn't asked but you live and learn so just a friendly warning to any other tourists go...

!!*Quando telefonate per ricevere informazioni farsi dire nome della persona con cui si parla altrimenti il proprietario usa il giochetto del "no noi nn abbiamo detto cosi, non abbiamo ricevuto chiamate" facendo i furbetti.. *!! Voto al proprietario: ZERO per come tratta i clienti.. le ragazze che lavorano per lui danno informazioni al telefono ai propri clienti relativo alle prenotazioni, ma nel momento in cui riporti al proprietario le informazioni ricevute ufficialmente, lui asserisce "le ragazze non sono abilitate a dare informazioni".. un bel metodo per scaricare responsabilità sul proprio personale e per non rispettare il cliente (non entro nel dettaglio per evitare ancor più brutte figure).. sono stato da loro l'anno precedente (2022) poiché la cucina era buona, e quindi sono tornato a Dicembre 2023, ma il proprietario grazie al suo atteggiamento irriverente e poco servizievole, mi ha costretto e dato modo di andare altrove per conoscere e apprezzare un'altra location tra le decine di altri ottimi bistrot e ristoranti che si trovano in zona.. Ciò che fa la differenza nell'andare o non andare in un determinato ristorante, non sempre è la qualità del cibo, molto spesso è la cura del cliente, caratteristica che non sembra essere affatto nelle corde di questo ristorante.

The guy working the front is very rude, all I asked was if the WiFi was upper case or lower case because it wasn’t working. He instead spoke to me disrespectfully telling me to LOOK! LOOK as if I was a disobedient child. “ for the record it’s all lower case” but written in all Caps. Coffee was good but, hey it’s Italy! If your looking for a warm welcome this is not the place!
