Such a BAD experience here! First we ordered soft drinks and the waiters asked why we didn't order alcohol (that's very intrusive and not polite). We told them we wanted to start with something refreshing and then we would start with wine and others drinks (we went there becauseof the wine). After the soft drinks we ordered food (they were very very insistent, like they were in a rush) and we were STILL EATING when they brought the bill. They wanted to have a free table as soon as possible just because in that moment we weren't consuming "expensive" drinks. We had the intention to have desserts and drinks later, but we had to go because they made us feel uncomfortable in every moment and literally brought the bill! We are in holidays, not in a rush. On the other hand, the food is not great, so I think the experience there (with the workers)should be comfortable at least... It's the first time I have to spend time writing a review because it was the worst memory of our trip. I kindly ask you to think about it, to think more about the humanity, the politeness, and the type of tourism you want in your city, because anyway the money will be not a problem for...
Read moreOne of the best wine bars of Trastevere, with more than 80 years of history on his shoulders, not for tourists, but for lovers of taste and quality. Dear owners and attentive to customers, Marcello is the reference of the local owner family, and you find it always available for every request, along with a qualified staff, friendly, funny. Family atmosphere, but with professionalism and attention not only to customers but also to the choice of products. Wines and whims gistosi for the most refined palates. Although popular with tourists, it is definitely not the place for "tourists" that you'd imagine to find in Trastevere. The atmosphere is warm and very warm. Prices extremely aligned with the excellent quality of products and the wonderful hospitality of the staff and owners. Thank you for being present in a location where the tourist is considered "tourist" that is, "so goes and goes, who cares if it remains satisfied", but here each person who enters is a "Customer" to pay attention...
Read moreOne of many restaurants/bars in Trastevere, we settled for it because it looked welcoming and the dishes had something to them. Safe to say we weren’t disappointed. Aperol spritz was exactly how it should be, good ration between proseco and aperol, really tasty. The food was unlike other pastas we tried in Rome (we ordered cacio e pepe and carbonara) but that doesn’t mean it was bad by any means. It was delicious, so much sauce, really big portions and best of all it comes served in a pan which we found quite charming. Had a lovely dinner, enjoyed our Trastevere tour and we would love to give it 5 stars, and as far as the food and the atmosphere goes it deserves it really. However the service was a bit weird, waited quite long to pay and the servers seemed a bit confused, but not that bad honestly. Would love to return some day definitely, and recommend...
