Fresco e Genuino — Restaurant in Rome

We stayed in this area of Rome for the 5 days we spent here and we stumbled upon this amazing local spot. The owner and chef came out and walked us through the entire menu and we had him pick out what we were eating for lunch. Needless to say we were amazed! We had a bunch of the “Tris Suppli Gourmet”, a specialty of his restaurant because of the many different kinds he makes. Delicious food and wonderful service by Fabio. We started our meal with a delicious tomato based thin crust pizza and suppli. The suppli was flavourful and freshly cooked. This was followed by a generous serving of pasta. I enjoyed the creamy cacio e pepe (a wonderful white sauce), while my partner enjoyed the tomato based amatriciana pasta. Had the pleasure of being served by Chef Glorioso last night and very thankful for his and his teams service! The restaurant was small establishment, but since it was chef driven it was perfect. I loved the variety of dishes that they provided from a nice vegetable platter (Tagliere Vegano) to burgers and some incredible pizza!
