Gran Caffè Valadier — Restaurant in Rome

The food is great, however there is a tall, young, brunette male worker there that just started working mornings who is very rude especially to English speaking customers who don't know fully fluent Italian. We used to go a lot when the older woman and man were working every morning and were very kind to us and would always welcome us in, but over the last few weeks they haven't been there and have been replaced with a young waiter who has laughed at us and spoke under his breath in Italian to the other workers multiple times we have gone, and even tried to charge us extra, when we know the correct pricing the older woman and man always charged us. Giving this place three stars because the coffee and pastries are pretty good. The woman who works the counter who is possibly the owner is great. She’s friendly and helpful. We came here two times and the third time the woman’s husband/coworker was here and I clearly heard him say charge the foreigners double. Our bill came out to double what it was the other times. Good morning culinary friends, we discovered this lovely little Café in the Prati district of Rome. This small cafe offers delicious sweet bakery art, a very mild and tasty coffee and fresh orange juice for breakfast. They also offer some sandwiches, which are very nice and fresh.
