🍝 - Food: 3/5 🛎️ - Service 4/5 📍 - Location & atmosphere 2/5

TLDR: I Massari is a good option for those who want to taste something different than the usual Carbonara or Amatriciana. The food is good, and if the weather is nice, the place offers outdoor tables but directly on the street, and you need to share the email experience with the pedestrians. It's worth a visit for a yummy meal!

I Massari is tucked away near Viale Mazzini, and parking can be tricky depending on the day and time—typical for this part of the city. You'll need to get a little creative when looking for a spot.

But once you finally park, you're in for a treat! The restaurant has a good menu that goes beyond the usual Carbonara and Amatriciana, focusing on flavours from the Puglia region. IMO, it's one of the best places in Italy for food quality.

They offer many tasty dishes that make for a good dining experience. You've got to try the Turnip Tops Tart with Caciocavallo Podolico cream and tarallo as a starter and the delicious Spaghetti all'Assassina. Still, I wasn't too impressed with the Podolica steak with Polignano potato rosty and rosemary—it just didn't hit the mark for me.

On nice days, you can dine outside at lovely tables on the street. It's a fun vibe, but be ready to share your meal with the sounds of people passing by and the noise and the smell of the kitchen aerator on top of the tables.

Considering the quality, I found the prices steep, but they're on par with other spots in the area.

Overall, I Massari, it is worth checking out if you want a meal that excites...

As a group of three, we ordered Bruschetta and three plates of pasta. Shortly after, another group of customers, who happened to be Italians, sat down near us. Despite ordering much later, they received their food long before we did, even though we ordered the same appetizer as the table next to us. Furthermore, they were served olive oil with their appetizer, while we were given dry bread.

When I asked the waiter about the origin of the wine, he brushed me off with a one-word answer, turned his back on me, and completely ignored my follow-up questions.

If you're Italian and don't mind selective customer service, this restaurant might be fine for you. However, if you're a tourist, I strongly advise against dining here. Throughout our entire visit, we felt like we were being treated like...
