We chose a couple of dishes today. The only price I did not ask about were the cooked artichokes. We were shocked to discover that they charged us 4 euro for each small artishock.16 euro for 4 small inner parts of artishock which summed up in a super expensive bill all together for the small meal we split.Magicly the bowl of the counter suddenly disappeared, as well as the pricetag I asked to see to understand wether the price is per piece and not as the others in weight. Their explanation was that "its escecially tasty".Well we lost our appetite, will never return there and think its a shame for this wonderful city...

Got scammed here. Had microwaved meatballs, pomodoro riso, a suppli, and a small can of coke. The guy behind the counter gave a receipt with 5 items (I only had 4), one of which was 8€ (he explained that two of the items were eaten at the restaurant instead of takeout so were 4€ each instead of the advertised 3.5€). This does not explain the two extra items on the receipt and the supplis should only be 1.5€. I didn’t want to start arguing for the difference so just paid and left. These guys hate tourists. Figure out the price, negotiate, and pay before eating, instead of the Italian way which is usually after. Questi tipi odiano i turisti.

I should have read all the reviews as my daughter and I were ripped off too. Two small plates of lasagna, a small plate of veggies, two soft drinks. 34 Euros! It was such a scam I laughed and tipped her one Euro just to say whatever. Been living in Italy for five months and so sad this is the ONLY place we’ve been treated this way. I plan to tell my AirBnB host so he can rip them in Italian. Stay away. Stay far away.
