Fischio — Restaurant in Rome

Went there on Sunday at 16:00 (we know that Google Maps times aren’t always updated so we checked on their IG to make sure they opened at 16:00) for a drink. They only started setting up the tables around 16:05 and stayed over half an hour setting up the tables. By 16:50 they were still not opened, despite most tables having people already waiting. I asked someone if they were opening at five, and ahead replied that they still had around a quarter of an hour to open.

If it takes over an hour to work on the opening, it either needs to start earlier or change its opening time to 17:00. By 16:00 there were some of us and we waited thinking it would be a matter of a few minutes, not of over an hour. Slowest opening I’ve seen.

We ended up being able to order only at 17:15. 75 minutes after we arrived at the opening time. I completely understand having to wait a bit when you arrive as soon as place opens but this...

This little hut on the side of a round about sure does crank out the good times! We walked up when there were just a few people having beers… we said to each other “Is this the place?…” walked up to the most helpful friendly staff ever! We told them what we were looking for and glass after glass the natural wines did not disappoint! One was a bit… weak… and the dude behind the bar was like “You sure?… it’s ok to say you don’t like it!” They we’re so cool! Everyone from the bartenders to the girls running around making sure the place was spotless! We spent a few hours there and by the time we left, it was packed! I’d be lying if I said we didn’t pop back in for one last glass before heading back to our hotel. Thanks for exposing us to some new great natural wines, and treating us...

If you want to have a real Roman experience, this is the place to go. One of the best places to have a drink in Rome. The quality of the drinks is really high.
