Mi'Ndujo — Restaurant in Rome

I noticed this place the day before when checking out the pathway to the Colosseum. Once we were done our tour, we wandered back and decided to stop. I will admit the cool air inside (something that is hit or miss I have learned) tempted us. The burgers in pita were the next thing.

I decided on the conzativicci and my husband the Mi Sbunno. Both sandwiches were delicious. I was tempted by the idea of a pumpkin spread on my sandwich and the chili flakes were not hot but sweetish and conveyed the flavor.

At the front of the shop, in the window, someone is working dough for the pita bread and chopping herbs.

The entire place was clean and sparkling. We were greeted and our questions answered. My husbands burger came with a fried egg and it was cooked to perfection. The portions were generious.

I'm an american so the cheese used was diffrent from what I am used to. It was not bad, but it was not a typical yellow american cheese sauce. The potatoes were also fresh cut and fried soft, not crisp. Again, diffrent but not bad.

There is a bathroom on scene. The sink is in the outer chamber, and then the toilet which was missing the top seat. I'd say that was the only 'flaw' in this place and the bathroom was...

I've already been to the Mi'Ndujo near Colosseo where everything was 10/10. Great service, great food and was a simple place for my friend and I to unwind for a bit. This Mi'Ndujo is no different. Granted I came during the lunch rush, so there were more people than usual, the employees were engaging and found me a seat in little to no time. The food was the cherry on the frosting. Lot of options with pictorial descriptions so non-speakers can understand what they want.

Highly recommend for people visiting or locals who want to try some...

Personale estremamente scortese, servizio lento e cibo costoso rispetto alle alternative vicine.

Ci siamo andati una sera con un gruppo di amici. Nonostante fossimo gli unici clienti in coda, hanno impiegato 15 minuti per prendere il nostro ordine. Il motivo è che fanno tutti i takeaway prima di prendere gli ordini dei clienti del ristorante. Abbiamo quindi trascorso 15 minuti in piedi davanti al bancone mentre il personale ci ignorava.

Nessun saluto, nessuna scusa, nessuna spiegazione, solo silenzio e noi ad aspettare come degli idioti.

Ordiniamo finalmente, chiediamo sei panini di cui due al sangue, ci dicono che si può fare, senza problema. A questo punto ogni uno di noi vuole pagare il suo panino. Si sono rifiutati di farci pagare separatamente. Abbiamo insistito ma niente da fare. Così uno degli studenti è stato costretto a pagare per i panini di tutti anche se avesse un budget limitato. Questo tipo di comportamento è inaccettabile.

Arrivano finalmente i panini al tavolo e non abbiamo più fame da quanto arrabbiati siamo. Ultima sorpresa, i due panini che dovevano essere al sangue sono ben cotti... Chiediamo in cassa, e l'uomo ci dice: "non facciamo panini al sangue". Ma scusa, ci hai appena detto che si poteva fare.

Se avessi potuto lasciare zero stelle lo avrei fatto, il peggior servizio che abbia mai visto in Italia, hanno davvero rovinato la...
